For New Jersey residents seeking the ideal blend of coastal accessibility, resort-style amenities, and a strong sense of community, the search often leads to the charming setting of Galloway Township. Located just minutes from the excitement of Atlantic City, Shady Pines RV Park—a part of the reputable Sun RV Communities network—offers a unique residential and recreational experience. This established location caters to both short-term vacationers and long-term seasonal guests, as well as those seeking year-round residency in its active 55+ manufactured home section.
The appeal of Shady Pines lies in its dual identity: it is both a relaxed, quiet retreat nestled near protected wildlife refuges and a convenient launchpad to the high-energy entertainment of the Jersey Shore. While some local users might notice the high volume of full-time residents, a common feature of many desirable South Jersey parks, the established nature of the community contributes significantly to its stability and strong neighborly atmosphere. As one visitor noted, the residents are "extremely friendly and even helpful," particularly to those new to the RV lifestyle, ready to "get answer any questions and tell her how to figure out how things up." This sense of community support is one of the park’s biggest draws.
This article provides New Jersey locals with a detailed and factual look into what makes Shady Pines RV Park a suitable and engaging choice for their camping or long-term housing needs in the Galloway area.

I went to visit a friend and this campground is very very nice. There is a fabulous pool that is so refreshing.it was terribly hot so my friend n I took a dip. There's a patio with Tables. And chairs that are pretty darn comfortable and it looks like you might even be able to have some kind of event there if you needed to but I don't know for sure about that. My friend is so glad she choice this campground out of so many in area. Her neighbors are extremely friendly n even helpful. She's new to rv living n doesn't know much Say her neighbor's right there.Ready to help her and get answer any questions and tell her how to figure out how things up.It's really great though. And I couldn't say enough.Good things about the place. So you should check it out if you're looking into the campgrounds
Sep 18, 2024 · Holly CavallaroThis campground is just ok. It was primarily filled with full timers leaving very few sites for travelers. When we were trying to park into our assigned spot the resident next door immediately came out to greet us and asked us how long we were staying. The spots are super tight except the handful in the middle section, which are much newer, but those are super unlevel. My biggest complaint about this location is the price. It is WAY TOO HIGH for what you get.
Oct 06, 2023 · Polly KayNice park conveniently located near AC. Seasonal folks are super friendly. Very clean and quiet. The staff is visible and willing to assist. The pool and bathhouse are better than most. Pro Tip - They don't guarantee your site unless you pay the additional $25 fee. FYI - If you are booking for a couple of days, the transient sites, located in the middle near the bathhouse are in the direct sun all-day and most likely your AC unit may not keep up. (Our booking was for a site on the outside next to the woods, (shady) but when we arrived out the site was not the one we requested) We thought maybe they were going to be super booked. Not the case, so I would suggest paying the $25 if you don't like to bake! BTW - Management was willing to move us but we didn't want to go through the hassle for one day and just stayed at the pool all day. Also, many people complained about the pool hours and they listened and extended to hours to 7 PM. We would come back if we could book a shady site. Happy Campers!
Jul 24, 2022 · Edward VoluntadThis is good 25 mins from the beach so not exactly a shore location, the property is very well maintained, the bathroom facilities need some TLC at this point and were not cleaned daily over the weekend (saw same bundles of hair near the shower stalls). I don’t go to RV pairs too often so not sure if the restrooms were above or below par, but it was the kind of place where you put your extra towel on any surface and only turn you place your personal items on top of it. And wear flip flops in the shower stalls.
