Jun 28, 2025 · Matthew MarshDon't go to this ranch with special needs kiddo! July 2025 We visited this horse riding trail twice. The first time, was good, except there was a weight limit, which we didn't know about and my husband couldn't ride. He was over the limit by ten pounds. We drove over an hour and wanted to have a family day, he had to sit in the car for two hours without us. There is a question on the paperwork that asked how much you weigh, but didn't specify there was a weigh limit. The lady could have told us this over the phone. Regardless, we set up another ride for July. I was told to be there at 8 am....I showed up at 8 am and the lady told me the ride was scheduled for 9:30! We drove over an hour...what did she want us to do...sit in the car??? She then continued to argue with me, saying the private rides were at 9:30. Funny, the first private ride we took was at 10am...and I even questioned the 8 am ride. She said it was early because it was hot for the horses....which I understood. Now she was telling me that we were an hour in a half early. No horses were set up, nothing. When our trail guide showed up, she looked like she just rolled out of bed with her daisy dukes and a tiny tank top, with no bra, and her double d's hanging out. We were always told to wear jeans....so imagine our surprise when she shows up wearing next to nothing and boobs flying in the wind. Once I went to pay for the ride, the owner then proceeded to tell me that "it was both of us in the wrong, because I didn't call back with a cc to hold the day." Um, nope, actually the owner called me during the week at 7:59 in the morning and left a message stating she would be away for the day and she would call me back...and she didn't. I have the recording, which ticked her off. What happened to the customer is right? I understand mistakes happened, which is why I went back after the weight fiasco. This woman apparently can't remember up from down. And, finally, the last time we went, we had two trails guides...one in the front and one in the back. Not this time, just the braless girl was leading my kids when the horse my son was in wanted to sway away, causing him to panick (he is on the spectrum and was reassured by the owner that wasn't a problem). He was on the trail for 20 minutes when she brought him back because the owner's husband saw what was happening to my son. She didn't offer a trail guide for him, another horse, nothing, and still charged us 125.00!! This owner is clearly in denial of what she is doing. Looking down at the reviews, looks like this "time to ride" thing has happened before. IF YOU LIVE FAR AWAY, CHOOSE SOMETHING CLOSER.
Jul 28, 2025 · David SchmitzI’ve always loved to ride ever since I was a little girl, but unfortunately I can’t own horses. Because of that I haven’t gotten to ride very much.my boyfriend surprised me on my birthday with a trail ride from these fine people. We had such an awesome time ! We got there early in the morning to beat the heat ,Our guides were knowledgeable kind and patient ! Very friendly and they were so kind to the horses ! The horses were beautiful and well behaved beyond my expectations. They aren’t dead head trail horses who just follow each other , they all have some spunk but gentle enough for a younger rider . I can’t wait to go back sometime soon! Thank you for the wonderful birthday ride !
Jul 25, 2021 · JustCallMe AmberTook my wife riding for her birthday. It was absolutely amazing! From the care they give their horses to the way they conduct business. I've never been horseback riding and they made sure I was good to go. Just want to give a shout out to the true mvps. Molly (my horse) and chief (my wifes) they were the best!
