While individual experiences can vary, the overall sentiment points to Sleepee Hollo RV Park as a valuable resource for RVers in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. This article will delve into the specific features, services, and overall suitability of Sleepee Hollo RV Park, providing a comprehensive overview to help you plan your next stay.

Location and Accessibility

Sleepee Hollo RV Park - Kingfisher’s Premium RV Park, is conveniently located at 20862 US-81, Kingfisher, OK 73750, USA. This address places it directly on US Highway 81, a major north-south artery running through Oklahoma. This prime location offers both significant advantages and certain considerations for visitors.

The immediate accessibility from US-81 means that the park is exceptionally easy to find and reach for travelers. Whether you're heading north or south through Oklahoma, pulling off the highway and getting into the park should be straightforward, minimizing navigation stress for RVers, especially those with larger rigs. This direct highway access makes it a practical stop for overnight stays or as a base for exploring the central Oklahoma region.

Being on a major highway, however, does come with the caveat of potential highway noise. One reviewer noted "loud highway noise that wakes you up all night long." While this is a common characteristic of RV parks located directly on main thoroughfares, it's a factor for potential guests to consider, particularly light sleepers or those seeking absolute silence. Nevertheless, the convenience of immediate highway access often outweighs this for many travelers.

Kingfisher, Oklahoma, itself is a city with a rich history and community feel, offering local services, dining, and shops. The park's proximity to Kingfisher means residents and visitors have relatively quick access to any essentials they might need during their stay. The surrounding area offers a glimpse into rural Oklahoma life, while major cities like Oklahoma City are within a reasonable driving distance for more extensive amenities or attractions.

Services Offered

Sleepee Hollo RV Park - Kingfisher’s Premium RV Park offers a range of services designed to make stays comfortable and convenient for both short-term visitors and long-term residents. While some reviews offer contrasting perspectives, the core services available are crucial for any RV park.

  • RV Hookups: As an RV park, it inherently provides spaces for recreational vehicles. While one review mentioned needing a "100-foot water hose for the water faucet at the building" to get a water hookup, this suggests that water access is indeed available, even if some sites require longer hoses. Electric hookups are also standard for RV parks, allowing guests to power their vehicles. The park caters to "long-term RV setups," which strongly implies the availability of full hookups, including sewer connections, to support extended stays comfortably.

  • Restrooms and Showers: The park provides bathroom facilities with showers. There are conflicting reviews regarding their cleanliness, with one describing them as "filthy" and lacking toilet paper, while another states, "The bathrooms are nice." This suggests that cleanliness may vary or depend on recent maintenance schedules.

  • On-site Laundry Mat: A significant advantage highlighted by a reviewer is the presence of a "little laundry mat onsite." This amenity is a huge plus for RVers, especially those on extended trips or long-term residents, providing convenient access to washing and drying facilities without leaving the park.

  • Pet-Friendly Policy: Sleepee Hollo RV Park allows pets, which is a key service for many RV owners who travel with their furry companions. The policy states, "Your allowed to have pets as long as they are on a leash," promoting responsible pet ownership within the community.

  • Owner Presence and Management: The owner, Anna, is frequently mentioned, indicating a direct, hands-on approach to management. Reviews describe her as a "very sweet, lady of the Lord," suggesting a kind and welcoming presence that contributes to the park's overall atmosphere. This personal touch in management is a valuable service in itself.

Features / Highlights

Sleepee Hollo RV Park - Kingfisher’s Premium RV Park, offers several notable features and highlights that contribute to its appeal, particularly for those seeking specific amenities and a certain type of atmosphere in an RV park.

In the often-sunny climate of Oklahoma, natural shade is an invaluable asset, providing relief from the heat, reducing the need for constant air conditioning, and enhancing outdoor comfort at your campsite. This makes it a preferred choice for many RVers.

  • On-Site Laundry Facilities: The presence of a "little laundry mat onsite" is a significant convenience. This allows guests, especially long-term residents, to do their laundry without leaving the park, saving time and effort and making extended stays much more practical and comfortable.

  • Community Patio Area: There is a "patio by the bathrooms and laundry mat that you can sit on." This provides a communal outdoor space where guests can relax, socialize, or simply enjoy the fresh air, adding to the park's community feel.

  • Catering to Long-Term Stays: One review explicitly states that "Mostly, this park caters to long-term RV setups." This indicates that the park is well-equipped and structured to accommodate residents who wish to stay for extended periods, offering suitable rates and possibly a more stable community feel.

  • Personalized Owner Interaction: The owner, Anna, is described as a "very sweet, lady of the Lord." This personal touch from management can significantly enhance a guest's experience, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the provided customer reviews for Sleepee Hollo RV Park - Kingfisher’s Premium RV Park, there is no explicit mention of specific, limited-time promotions or special offers in the traditional sense (e.g., "buy one night, get one free"). However, the reviews do highlight a consistent pricing strategy that could be considered a standing offer for certain types of stays.

The most notable "special offer" implicit in the reviews is the reasonable monthly rent. For those seeking an extended stay in Kingfisher, one reviewer explicitly states, "And the monthly rent is very reasonable." This indicates that Sleepee Hollo RV Park is structured to provide an economical option for long-term residents, offering a competitive rate for extended commitments compared to daily or weekly pricing often found at other parks. This focus on affordability for longer stays is a significant value proposition for many RVers.

While a daily fee of $45 was mentioned in one review (which the reviewer found to be "greedy"), this might reflect a peak season rate, a short-term rate that differs from monthly rates, or a specific type of site. RV park pricing can vary widely based on duration of stay, site amenities (e.g., full hookups, pull-through), and seasonal demand.

A nice elderly lady owns the RV park. I don't fault her because it is run down and in bad shape. Neither do I hold her responsible for the loud highway noise that wakes you up all night long. What irks me is her greedy $45 fee! Filthy toilets and showers with no toilet paper. If I hadn't had a 100 foot water hose for the water faucet at the building, I wouldn't have had a water hookup. Mostly, this park caters to long-term RV setups.

The lady (Anna) and her son (Steve) that run this park are priceless - they will do anything to make your stay as wonderful as possible. This is our first time staying in an RV park and I hope and pray they are all like this. Very kid friendly - we have 2 kids. My son loves feeding the horses beside the park. Pet friendly - I have a large dog. I love that it’s not just a parking lot with hookups! There’s big trees and it’s open. The people living here have all been very friendly. We have felt right at home here.

If you are looking for a resort, move on. We just needed a spot to rest up, sleep and head out next day. The owner is marvelous, very sweet lady. The rates are reasonable. It was fairly quiet and my dog enjoyed the stop. Had a pull through large enough for us to not unhook. Getting in and out of the driveway with a 40' mh with tow car was a bit rough, uphill out to the highway. It's mainly a long term locals park on the edge of town. But we're like to talk to locals, and don't care to pay a fortune to sleep in my own bed. It's a nice little stop for weary travelers.

This place does not have a restaurant so food and service can not be horrible as there is no food and service. There is plenty of water pressure. The owners are very friendly and keep the park in good shape. I am here for work for the better part of two years and problems at this RV Park are the least of my worries. Receiving mail and packages has not been a problem. Payment must be cash or check-- no credit cards. Other than that, come on and enjoy rural Oklahoma.
