Promotions or Special Offers

As a newer campground that focuses on providing full hookup sites at a reasonable price, Spirit Of Ripley Campground's "promotions" often come in the form of its transparent and competitive nightly, weekly, or seasonal rates. While specific, temporary "special offers" are not widely advertised, the campground's consistent value proposition is its main draw.

The emphasis on "reasonable price" for full hookups is itself a form of promotion for RVers who prioritize these amenities without wanting to overpay. Campers looking for extended stays—be it monthly or seasonal—should inquire directly about those rates, as they typically offer a discount compared to cumulative nightly rates.

Potential visitors should always check the campground's official listings on popular camping review sites or directly contact them for the most current pricing structure and any potential unadvertised deals for longer bookings. Given its newer status and focus on self-contained camping, its primary "offer" is a reliable, comfortable, and well-equipped site for your RV in a pleasant Minnesota setting.

Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for Locals

For Minnesotans, Spirit Of Ripley Campground offers a practical, comfortable, and appealing option for RV camping, particularly for those who value the convenience of full hookups and a well-maintained, open environment. Its suitability for local users stems from several key aspects. Firstly, its location in Litchfield, within Meeker County, places it amidst the natural beauty of Minnesota's lake country, offering a true escape without being excessively remote. The proximity to Lake Ripley and the amenities of West Ripley Park means easy access to quintessential Minnesota outdoor activities like fishing, boating, and lakeside relaxation.

Secondly, the campground's design, with its spacious, level, and full-hookup sites, directly addresses the needs of modern RVers. For many Minnesotans who own larger RVs or simply prefer the comfort of having water, sewer, and electricity readily available at their site, Spirit Of Ripley provides exactly that. This eliminates the need for frequent trips to dump stations or concerns about power supply, allowing for a truly self-contained and stress-free camping experience. The open layout and fewer trees, while perhaps not ideal for tent campers seeking deep shade, are often preferred by RVers for easier maneuverability and satellite reception.

Finally, the "reasonable price" makes it an accessible option for frequent local getaways. Combined with the scenic motorcycle routes in the area, it presents a versatile base for exploring the region. While the note about management not always being on-site suggests a more independent camping experience, the core offerings are solid, making Spirit Of Ripley Campground a valuable and comfortable choice for Minnesotans looking for a straightforward and enjoyable RV retreat.

Since the owners /managers of the campground are not on site most of the time there was a lack of communication about lots of things but everything eventually worked out. It is a pretty new campground and the sites are pretty level but very open. We went to motorcycle and the riding in the area is beautiful. If it's important to you the nearest restrooms are in the county park across the street and there is no shower house here at this point. This is a full hookup only campground, but the price is pretty reasonable.

Nice little campground, but very few trees and no restroom or showers here. There is a restroom across the road at a park though. They do have full hook ups here, power, water and sewer.

Let me start off by saying, Dale seemed so pleasant to speak with in the beginning. Seemed very accommodating due to my husband's work schedule. On 04/15 I called to make the reservation for a wk before memorial day. This is for 3 sites. As it is a work crew. On 04/17, I called & gave Dale my credit card info for reservations 2 of the spots. Unfortunately, I had to call on 04/27 to change the reservation dates bc the work schedule had changed putting us arriving in Minnesota at sometime between the middle to near end of June. He changed reservation til June 15 thru the 30. Told me to call back if anything changed. Well, things definitely changed. Now we wouldn't be arriving until the 27th of June. He said he didn't have spots for us until the afternoon of July 4th. I asked to make sure he'd definitely have spots that afternoon being that it's the 4th. He confirmed he would. So I made hotel reservations from 27th til the 4th. Dale said he had a spot to store our rv while we were at hotel or at the other campground he recommended. On 06/22, he said he had to spots open up so we wouldn't have to wait until the 4th. Awesome. We canceled our hotel reservations. Today, 06/24, we told us that he wouldn't have spots until after the 10th. You see, we needed extended lodging due to the job being 6-8 wks long. The guys work 7/12s weather permitting. So we can't move the rv every 2 wks like we'd have to at other parks. Not only was the reservation a cluster. But apparently the shower house that would be built by the time we arrived doesn't exist. Also, he said 700 for monthly rates knowing one of the RVs had 2 ac units. Now, that rate has changed. I'm not sure if Dale is just an idiot or possibly suffering from onset of dementia. He stated that we haven't spoke recently or that I never gave him my credit card information. I offered to send him a screenshot of our call log.He said he'd go back to the office to check. I told him he was very unorganized & unprofessional. Update You never asked for a deposit. And they were content. Regardless, I don't recommend anyone deal with Dale.

We really enjoyed the entire weekend. It is about an hour and 40 minutes from our home and will be returning there soon. Even bringing guests with to try it out with their rv. Very quiet, lake across the road, bike trails, golf course nearby. Something to do for everyone. Highly recommend to everyone.

My family loved this campground! Clean, quiet, and right next to the lake. Within minutes from stores and Wal-Mart. The campground owners are super friendly and properly maintain the grounds at all times. I would come here every year if I could!
