Customer Reviews
Wow! What a wonderful gem in Lake City, FL. I'm from Tallahassee, FL and this was my first time camping experience and doing it with kids to boot. The staff here were so kind and helpful with my child who wanted to walk through the woods while also juggling balls. Electricity was not an issue. A HUGE thank you to their restaurant for saving the day for me. I do not cook. Kinda ironic at the whole camping thing. Also the store on site was greatly appreciated. Beautiful water, clean bathrooms and strong staff presence will be back again.
We took a little trip to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park for 3 days of camping and music. This park is an impressive 800 acre park with full 30 amp and 50 amp hookups. They have plenty of primitive camping, horse stables, cabins, and membership camping spots. There is a white sand beach on the black waters of the Suwannee River, canoe rentals, a lake, a bat house, disc golf, a camp store, restaurant, and golf cart rentals. There are port-a-potties throughout the campground. They were very clean. I did not visit the bathhouse but I only saw one. We were there for the first annual Amp Jam. I would recommend this park and the festival. I would also recommend VIP passes for a music festival which gave us a viewing area at the front of the stage, upgraded bathroom facilities, a comforter station with free water, hot chocolate, and tea. We also had a private bar and got to judge a good cook-off both Friday and Saturday night. Saturday they had an oyster bar and crawfish boil. I would definitely recommend this park but I do hope they add another bathhouse or two.
We did a family and friends camping trip. Some stayed in tents, trailers and I rented a cabin. We stayed for New year’s fireworks show. I was impressed by the 30 minute high quality fireworks they displayed, it was epic! It’s not a five star resort, but it was clean and had everything I needed for a great week! It’s very family friendly. I will go again and I recommend this campground!
Been the best, and will always be. I do however feel forty dollars a night to stay after the event or even before the event is a bit pricey. So for an RV stop in future trips I probably won't stop. It's still my number one festival venue though and thank you Suannee and Amp Jam!
People were not kidding when they said magic lives here. I visited for the first time for a music festival. Bathrooms were kept up on. Trash cans as needed. This place is amazing. I can't wait to go back in Oct.
