We had a great experience at Spring Creek Campground! It was our first time trying primitive camping at this location and it was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The creek was beautiful my sons loved jumping in and exploring. The campground is well maintained and has great amenities, including a laundry room with washers and dryers, clean bathrooms, and hot showers. They also offer RV sites for those who prefer that option. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Plus, the campground is just minutes away from gas stations and stores, so it’s easy to grab anything you need. Five stars overall, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed in spring creek campground a couple years ago to visit our grandson and absolutely loved it. We made such wonderful memories and had to come back. What a refreshing change from glorified parking lots and dirt patches called rv parks, traveling across the country from coast to coast! Close to shopping, and set apart and peaceful, with the beauty of the river and surrounded by nature…. This campground has character and stands out for us as one of favorite places to stay. We’ve seen upgrades this visit and the people running it Lori and Airly (?) worked hard to accommodate our desires and are friendly and helpful, making this a great place to visit again and gain more awesome memories of time with our grandson. Thank you Spring Creek Campground!!

Treated very poorly by Camp Manager. We made reservations to stay at the campground until we could move into our quarters on Fort Campbell. When my wife booked the site, the female manager seemed helpful and said that ordinarily they do not check guests in on Sunday, but that she would leave our campsite information at the office for when we arrived, which seemed kind of her. We drove 12 hours from VA and arrived in the evening. When I walked to the office, the male manager approached me and said, “You can’t stay here.” I was a bit confused and calmly tried to explain about the reservations. He then rudely stated that there’s no way I could stay because our camper exceeded the “10 year” rule and that “the company would have his ass if I stayed at the campground .” We have a completely rebuilt 1979 camper, but I totally understand some campgrounds restrict the age of campers. We’ve experienced it across the country and have no issues with that requirement. However, that was not explained when we provided the make, length, and age of the camper when we booked the site. Moreover, it has been so long since I’ve been treated that rudely. As I turned the camper around to exit, I saw 8x vacant sites. Given the circumstances, he could have kindly offered to allow us to stay one night in order to allow us to find other accommodations. At the very least, he could have been polite and empathetic to the long day of leaving our home in VA. I cannot objectively rate the facilities or location, but it is hard to imagine wanting to stay at a site that treats people this way. I certainly will not recommend it to other military friends.

Reasonable rates, clean bathrooms, hot showers and accommodating camp hosts. Dog name Tiger greets you in the office. (Good boy Tiger) Tent camping next to a little creek. Laundry is a bit pricey at $5.25 per load (wash and dry) but only takes credit no coin laundry. Also has a pretty cool party barn in the back lot. I would recommend based on the friendly staff alone! Thanks for the good times guys!

The pictures and descriptions on the website are not at all true to form. They have put in some new electric lines in the spaces in front of the office but it's only half done. The ruts and mud were just left unfinished making it challenging to level your camper. Prior to arrival, we called with questions, had to leave a message but never got a return call. Check in is @ 2:00pm, and when we got there, the office was closed with no note or information. Another camper came by and said they were out of camp. We moved into an empty space so we weren't blocking the road, and waited about 30min for the owners to return. We told them our reservation info and name and the man had no clue. The woman was looking on her phone to find our info, and finally said we could stay. Let me add that the man smelled very badly of marijuana. The spot we reserved, along with the majority of the rest of the spaces are long term/permanent campers, so I'm not sure why the space was listed as available. The campground is in general disrepair with unkempt lots, not mowed, sticks, weeds etc. We did our touristy stuff, came back late and went to bed but left the next morning, forfeiting the money we paid for the week, (I was so disgusted I didn't even want to talk to them and the contract wouldn't have allowed it anyway). After moving to another campground we were getting set up and upon opening our camper door, the whole camper smelled badly of marijuana. Neither my husband nor I smoke anything, not even cigarettes, so I can only discern that there must be a lot of smoking of marijuana going on while we were gone all day and because we were out all day we didn't notice until we moved out of the area. I would NEVER recommend this campground to anyone.
