We stayed here for May while visiting family in the area. We stayed in site 11 with a 42ft fifth wheel. We enjoyed our time, the pool is fantastic, the lake in the back has good fishing, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It gets a little soggy when it rains but it's worth it for the jungle-like feel of the campground. We plan to stay again when we're in the area. Thanks again for a fun, memorable month!

My family and I had high hopes for this campsite after hearing rave reviews from friends who had stayed there. However, our experience was far from what we had anticipated. Maybe they had a change in management, as the staff was unfriendly and the place was poorly maintained. The provided flyer was inaccurate and misleading, as some of the activities and facilities they advertised were not available. Additionally, it was unprofessional to close the pool for a private party. And let’s not forget the terrible weather conditions when it rains. The roads are unpaved or graveled and uneven, creating numerous puddles and mud. Other things that just made our experience worse was that they didn’t have hot water for their showers, and please be careful on their electric box’s, since the wires were exposed making it an electrical hazard. Near an our campsite there was a strong smell of gas. This campground seems to have long term residents in the priority. Needless to say, we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

A nightmare I will never forget!! A place I called "home" for 9 years. Was happy at the start of my stay there but over the last couple of years has evolved into a place where I never want to experience again. Water is non drinkable and constantly being shut off for repairs. Sewer stinks terribly! Now, you are being charged for electric, wi-fi that only works occasionally and cable TV that comes and goes like the seasons in a year. Washers and dryers that are only operational if you are one of the lucky ones. You have maintenance people that just like to ride around on golf carts and side by sides and look at what needs to be done but don't want to get off their carts to do their job. They ride around drinking beer or hide outback at the maintenance shed. You have electrical issues that need to be addressed but no licensed electrician to do the repairs properly. The management only offers excuses as to their problems there and if you express your concerns they are ready to evict you on the spot. I witnessed several incidents as to the demise of all that takes place there now. It is one big cover-up for all that has taken place over the years. Going downhill quickly and not enjoyable for a family campground anymore. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.!! Shop around for a better place. They are there!! The people that are there now and have been are well aware of all this but don't want to say anything because of the fear of being thrown out and not allowed to return even to visit friends as I was told I could not visit my friends there that I met over the past 9 years. Sounds like a dictatorship campground has evolved here to me. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Great family run campground with great amenities. Staff is pleasant and always ready to help. Sites are gravel/sand but level. Some complained it's tight but we've seen worse. Good power, water and sewer at the site. We did not try the cable but I hear it was good. Wifi was good for the usual surfing but too slow for streaming. There is an upgrade available for that or use your data. The pool and tiki bar are a great place to hang out with lots of loungers. They have a large communal fire pit that was pretty busy on Saturday night. Washroom and showers have been updated and are kept very clean. All in all, we found it to be a great place to camp.
