Sun Valley Mobile Home Park About
In the dynamic and diverse housing landscape of Minnesota, mobile home parks represent a unique and often misunderstood segment of the market, offering an accessible entry point into homeownership. Sun Valley Mobile Home Park in Plymouth, MN, stands as an example of such a community, providing a more affordable housing option for many individuals and families across the Twin Cities metropolitan area. For those seeking an alternative to traditional stick-built homes, or looking to maximize their housing budget, a mobile home park can offer a practical solution.
Sun Valley Mobile Home Park is an established community, having served residents for many years. It operates on a model where residents typically own their manufactured home but lease the land it sits on. This arrangement can significantly reduce the upfront cost of housing compared to purchasing both a home and land, making it an attractive option for a variety of Minnesotans. The park aims to provide a communal living environment, and for decades, it has been a place many have called home. While some long-term residents note that the park's condition has seen changes over the years, there's an ongoing commitment and potential for positive developments, as indicated by recent community sentiment. It's a place that has been a part of the Plymouth fabric for generations, and understanding its history and evolution is key to appreciating its role in the local housing market.
Sun Valley Mobile Home Park is strategically situated at 10717 10th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55441, USA. This location places it within the thriving city of Plymouth, a highly sought-after suburb in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area. Plymouth is well-regarded for its extensive park system, excellent schools, and a wide array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
The park's address offers excellent accessibility to major roadways, including Highway 169, which provides quick routes to Minneapolis and other surrounding communities. This means residents can enjoy the peace of suburban living while maintaining convenient access to urban amenities and employment centers. The ease of access to public transportation routes (though specific routes serving the park directly would need to be verified with local transit authorities) further enhances its appeal for those who commute or prefer not to rely solely on personal vehicles. Being part of the Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) service area also suggests potential access to community support programs, which can be a valuable resource for residents. The location strikes a balance between quiet residential living and connection to a broader, active community, making it suitable for those who appreciate both convenience and a suburban atmosphere.

Specific, ongoing promotions or special offers directly from Sun Valley Mobile Home Park are not consistently advertised in public listings. However, those interested in purchasing a manufactured home within the park should consider the following approaches to discover potential savings or incentives:
Direct Inquiry: The best way to learn about any current promotions, available homes, or financing options is to contact the park management directly. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on lot rent specials, move-in incentives, or partnerships with manufactured home retailers.
Retailer Promotions: Often, manufactured home retailers that partner with mobile home parks may offer promotions on new homes, such as discounted prices, included appliances, or financing incentives. Inquiring with local manufactured home dealers who place homes in Sun Valley could reveal such opportunities.
Pre-owned Home Opportunities: Purchasing a pre-owned home within the park, either directly from a current resident or through a listing agent, can often present a more affordable entry point. While these typically don't come with "promotions" from the park, their inherent lower cost can be a significant advantage.

Customer Reviews
I have lived in this park for many years. It could be a 5 star park with a little cooperation from my neighbors our so called management team. I won't go into details but their will be positive changes going forward
I have lived here for over forty years. This park has gradually gone down hill. No upgrades to anything. Water pipes are shot. I will not drink the water. The park was nice once upon a time. Time for closure. Sad to say. I miss once upon a time.
This park is the most poorly managed park I have ever seen. The owners do not care about this park at all. I would actually like to sit down with the owners. I have lived in this park for over 35 years so i think I have a little idea on how it should be managed. The rent is now 500 a month and nothing has changed
It does look a bit run down and the management reminds me of the movie Psycho but its got that nostalgic feel even though its the hangnail on a beautiful toe.
500 a month and nothing has been done to improve anything, new owners are just as bad as the last one, run away if you are considering this park!
