Sunset Cove West formerly Blue Eye Point RV Park About

For those of us here in Alabama who love the RV lifestyle, whether it's for a weekend getaway or a longer-term stay, finding the right RV park is essential. We want a place that offers not just a spot to park, but a comfortable environment, convenient amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Look no further than Sunset Cove West RV Park, formerly known as Blue Eye Point RV Park, located in beautiful Lincoln, Alabama. This park offers a cozy and accommodating experience for RV enthusiasts, striving to make every guest feel at home.

An RV park, or recreational vehicle park, serves as a dedicated facility providing spaces and services for various types of recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth-wheel campers. These parks are designed to offer more than just a place to park; they typically provide essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer hookups, allowing RVers to comfortably use their vehicle's onboard facilities. Many RV parks, like Sunset Cove West, also offer additional amenities to enhance the stay, such as recreational areas, communal spaces, and direct access to local attractions or natural features. They function as a base camp for exploring a region, a peaceful stopover during a long journey, or even a semi-permanent residence for those who embrace the full-time RV lifestyle. Sunset Cove West aims to provide a welcoming and functional environment for all its guests, recognizing the diverse needs of the RV community in Alabama. It's a place where you can settle in, relax, and enjoy the local surroundings with ease.

Sunset Cove West RV Park is conveniently located at 44738 US-78, Lincoln, AL 35096, USA. This strategic address places it in Lincoln, Alabama, a community known for its strong connection to the state's natural beauty and recreational opportunities. The park’s location along US-78 provides straightforward access for RVers traveling from various directions, making it an easy destination to reach for both local Alabamians and those coming from further afield.

One of the most significant advantages of Sunset Cove West's location is its proximity to water. While the provided information doesn't explicitly state which body of water, the previous name "Blue Eye Point" and the mention of a boat ramp and covered pier strongly suggest it's situated on or very near a lake or river, likely Lay Lake or another part of the Coosa River system, which is prevalent in this area. This means guests can enjoy activities such as fishing, boating, and simply relaxing by the water's edge.

Beyond the immediate natural attractions, the park's location in Lincoln also offers accessibility to other notable points of interest in Alabama. It is relatively close to Talladega Superspeedway, making it a potentially convenient lodging option for race fans during event weekends. Furthermore, major cities like Birmingham are within a reasonable driving distance, providing access to a wider range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The blend of natural serenity and convenient access to both local and regional amenities makes Sunset Cove West an appealing choice for RVers looking to explore or simply relax in central Alabama.

  • Boat Ramp: A dedicated boat ramp is available, providing direct water access for guests who wish to launch their boats, kayaks, or other watercraft.

I lived here for just over three years before we bought our house. It's a great park and some of the best rates you will find in the area on the water! The owners are great and very easy to work with. Nice and quite area and the property is maintained and is taken very well care of. Whether your looking for a one night stay or long term on the lake I would highly recommend this park!

The is a local owned single person ran t.v. park .. It's located water front . Main for permanent sites but the lady that owns the place does have short stay lots ... full hookups !! Water pressure EXTREMLY high bit nothing a good regulator can't fix ... so Beware of that ... the docks are nice and boat ramp isn't half bad either .. real easy to deal with by text and really no certain ti.e for checkout which is a plus in my book ... no rushing you to leave... The owner EXTREMLY nice and everyone is extremely nice and quiet so ... best place to get good rest ... no camp store and the lots are tight but not bad for the money !!!

The owner is a horrible woman who kept my deposit and literally committed a b&e when she came into My trailer without permission while I slept because I didn't answer the door she just walked in. And anytime I had friends over serveral people would harress them about why they were there and who they were with, even if I was standing there too. And race week is the worst as they have no noise curfew. Horrible community of people. The on site maintenance guy almost made up for it but not enough.
