Sunset Cove RV Park and Boat Storage is a recreational vehicle park and boat storage facility located in Lincoln, Alabama. Its primary appeal lies in its "beautiful scenery and views" and direct access to a river, which is the Coosa River arm of Logan Martin Lake. The park offers RV lots for rent, with pricing varying based on proximity to the water, and provides amenities for those who enjoy fishing and boating. It serves as both a "quiet vacation spot" and a potential "nice living situation for single working people." In addition to RV sites, the facility offers dedicated boat storage, catering to the needs of local boat owners. While some past resident reviews mention concerns about management responsiveness, noise levels, pet waste, and maintenance of certain facilities, the core offerings of beautiful views, water access, and a generally relaxing atmosphere remain significant attractions for many. The park emphasizes its direct access to the river with piers and a boat launch.

For Alabama locals, Sunset Cove RV Park and Boat Storage in Lincoln presents a suitable option for those prioritizing direct lakeside access, beautiful scenery, and a generally peaceful atmosphere for their RV and boat. The park's prime location on Logan Martin Lake is a major draw, offering unparalleled opportunities for fishing, boating, and enjoying water-based recreation right on your doorstep. For avid anglers and boaters, the on-site boat launch (free for residents) and direct pier access are invaluable conveniences, making it easy to enjoy Alabama's abundant waterways.
The availability of RV lots for both short-term "vacation spot" use and potentially longer-term "living situation for single working people" offers flexibility. The tiered pricing based on proximity to the water, along with the option for no lease on back lots, allows for different budgets and commitment levels.
However, it's essential for locals to note the concerns raised in some reviews regarding management responsiveness, noise issues from neighbors, pet waste, and maintenance of certain facilities like the pier, as well as potential confusion around deposits and extra charges for boat storage. These suggest that direct and thorough communication with the park management (particularly the wife, as noted in a review) before committing to a stay, especially long-term, is crucial to clarify all terms, rules, and expectations.
Despite these potential challenges, for Alabamians who value the core offering of stunning lakeside views, immediate water access, and a quiet setting (when neighbors are considerate), Sunset Cove RV Park still holds considerable appeal. It can be a fantastic local getaway or a practical base for enjoying Logan Martin Lake, provided prospective residents conduct diligent upfront inquiries to ensure it aligns with their expectations.

The whole time we lived there we had neighbors that played music all hrs of the night. There kids were left alone while dad worked. I complained multiple times nothing never changed. Then my mother in law fell sick and we had to move back home we gave our 30 day notice and moved within that 30 days after notice and requested our deposit back that we put down before we moved there and the lady owns the park refused to give our deposit back. We did talk to a lawyer about it and she was supposed to give it back to us. But fighting it would've taken more that what we put down. The park people that had dogs let there animals feces all over the park never picking it up. The one pier we could use was half broken and duck and geese poop all over it. She was never there her husband was there more and if you talk to him about anything he'd tell you you have to talk with his wife. She stayed out of the country more than the park she was running. Talk to the neighbors around there they all say the same thing about her. She has habit of going up on lot rent and charging extra if you store your boat next to your camper and not her storage. So anyone who wants to stay long term BEWARE!
Feb 01, 2025 · April PaytonBeautiful scenery and views. A quiet vacation spot or a nice living situation for single working people. Plenty of access to the river, with nice piers. There is a boat launch that cost 5$ to non residents, but it's free to residents. There is a convenience store with fishing supplies too. Nice relaxing spot for the kids and family. RV lots are available for rent and priced according to the distance away from the water. No lease for the back lots, however the lots on the water require a one year lease
Feb 09, 2019 · Corley BlackBeautiful views, water does get drained around mid October, therefore, the slew Close to the entrance of the RV park will be would be completely dried up with no water remaining around the Docks. But, everything is wonderful, friendly campers, good fishing on property. You must reside or rent a camper spot to access the fishing.
