Sunset Village About

For Kentuckians exploring diverse and affordable housing options, Sunset Village in Radcliff presents itself as a noteworthy mobile home community. Often referred to as manufactured housing communities, these parks offer a distinct pathway to homeownership, combining the financial benefits of owning a manufactured home with the community spirit of a well-managed neighborhood. Sunset Village aims to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for its residents, blending suburban tranquility with convenient access to urban amenities right here in Hardin County.

The appeal of living in a manufactured home community stems from its unique structure: residents typically own their home while leasing the land it sits on. This model can make homeownership more attainable for many individuals and families, often with lower upfront costs and potentially more manageable monthly expenses compared to traditional site-built homes. At Sunset Village, the emphasis is placed on fostering a sense of camaraderie and providing attentive on-site support, which significantly contributes to a positive living experience.

While some online reviews for mobile home parks in general might highlight concerns, Sunset Village stands out due to exceptional feedback regarding its on-site management team. Residents consistently praise individuals like Melissa, the maintenance lady, and Jenn, highlighting their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the community members. This personal touch, where residents feel "like family," is a significant draw, suggesting that despite any external perceptions of mobile home living, Sunset Village strives to create a supportive and well-cared-for environment for its Kentucky residents.

However, the appeal lies in providing a stable and community-focused living solution at a potentially more accessible price point than traditional home purchases in Kentucky.

Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact Sunset Village directly via their provided phone numbers to inquire about current lot availability, the precise structure of the lot rent, any associated fees, and the terms of the lease agreement. Understanding all financial obligations, including any policies regarding future rent adjustments, is crucial for making an informed decision. My name is Mary & I wanna leave a review for Melissa , the maintenance lady.. she is the best & so is Jenn… they both go above & beyond just being managers of a trailer park..they treat u like family… even on weekends I can call them at anytime & they will be there…as far as I’m concerned Melissa & Jenn is the ONLY good thing going for this trailer park.. they truly treat u like family & not just a renter..I have watched Melissa in 100 degree weather cutting grass all over this trailer park even on weekends & that’s with her bbeing sick…so with that being said I wanna think Jenn & Melissa for ALWAYS being there no matter how there day is going… we love both of u.. without youll this trailer park would be TRASH … I’m only giving 5 stars because of them.. it’s definitely not because of the trailers…

Horrible place to live they try to steal your money any way they can and try to enforce the most outrageous rules. They patrol the park at least three times a day trying to find ways to charge people a fine for anything without warning. Month to month rent means they can ruin your whole life if you buy a trailer here and kick you out whenever. Save your money for a down payment somewhere else. Ashley Hocker and Tiffany G. are managers here that left 5 star reviews and they do not live here.

Terrible place to live. Managers are awful, matience is a joke and dont follow the park rules themselves and are always harrassing people and their kids. Never pay only lot rent they always find a reason to charge you extra. Everyone is expected to follow strict, STRICT rules except the maintainence they cant even maintain there own home.
