Customer Reviews
The staff was extremely friendly! Very clean campground. It’s quite except the road noise, a lot better than jets flying overhead at 0700 in the morning. lol. Overall a good stay! Thank you for having us. We stayed 2 months.
We stayed at Sweetwater for 3 nights with our 2 kiddos aged 4 and 6 and 2 dogs. The staff is very attentive, and everything was well maintained and clean from our site, to the dog parks, to the playground to the pool! Our two boys lived in the pool while we were here and Lee always made sure the pool was clean and ready for them. He would notice us walking to the pool and meet us to get the pool vacuum out and make sure everything was good to go. Everyone on staff served above and beyond and always with a smile. The camp store has lots of things you might need and everything is very reasonably priced! Also very quiet and great WiFi. My husband and I both had to work some while on this trip and had no trouble doing what we needed to do! We’ve camped all over the US, and this little park will definitely have a spot on our top 5 list!
Overnight stop for us in our small camper. Sites don’t offer much shade and are all back in but roomy and level. Staff was incredibly helpful and even guided us into our site. The campground also had 3 large fenced areas so the dogs could romp-big plus for us after several days on the road!
Clean, level lots. Spotless & convenient laundry site. Affordable & peaceful place to stay. Full hookups. Excellent communication with their guests. We really loved our experience here, truly one of the nicest RV parks we’ve been to! Shannon, John & Emmett were hospitable hosts who also offer onsite propane they fill for you! Highly recommend Sweetwater RV Park for a pleasant, wholesome stay!
I love living here, but things have recently changed since Milton. We used to have a lovely site for our cargo van that included room to park our truck with it. The management has become very unfriendly and restricted the space we use for storage. They changed our space and made it very cramped. We live on a very tight street and parking is almost impossible to fit our truck on or even back into our space. Plus there are many dog owners in our park. Most of them are responsible like we are. But there are those who walk their dogs and leave the waste all over the park. I carry extra bags to pick up my own dogs’ waste, but find I am picking up extra on almost every walk. It is disgusting. Please carry bags and pick up your waste. I want to love living here. We still have no clubhouse open since the hurricane. I lived without a pool for a couple of months after the hurricane, lived without a pool that was too hot to enjoy most of the summer and things have gotten tense with management since we lost a former one named Robin. She was friendly and very easy to work with, but new management is not. I would love to go back to enjoying living here again.
