The Oaks On Henderson About

Living in Texas offers a unique blend of vibrant city life and serene country escapes, and for many, the idea of a mobile home park presents an appealing and often more affordable housing solution. If you're considering this lifestyle, especially in the Cleburne area, understanding what a mobile home park truly offers is key. This article will provide a comprehensive overview of The Oaks On Henderson, a mobile home park located right here in Cleburne, Texas, helping you decide if it's the right fit for your next home.

Mobile home parks, also known as manufactured home communities, provide a distinct living experience. They typically offer a sense of community, often with shared amenities and a more laid-back atmosphere than traditional neighborhoods. For residents in Texas, these parks can be a gateway to homeownership without the hefty price tag often associated with traditional stick-built homes, or they can offer flexible rental options for those seeking a more temporary or transient living arrangement. I wouldn’t recommend living here she is money hungry and after money . We lived there for a year and we had nothing but negative things to say about this place . We loved it at first but then she started acting different and asking for more money and after we payed off the washer and dryer we payed a extra $200 a month for she refused to give it to us even though we paid for it after we moved into a different trailer in the same park and also wanted a extra $500 pet deposit even though we were still in the same park just a different trailer and already paid the $500 pet deposit when we first moved in to the first trailer we lived in . Then we were told we had to pay extra a month to have 3 cars even though one of them was my husbands work truck and we were told by the manager we had to get rid of one of our personal vehicles. When we first moved in to the second trailer they stated they cleaned the carpet but it stank like cat pee and was really strong when you first walked in the trailer . We told them multiple times about it and was told “ we deep cleaned the carpet and we can clean it again but that’s all we can do” so I wouldn’t recommend living there to anyone management is god awful and disrespectful. My husband asked for the washer and dryer and we told them we were moving out and she slammed our glass door of the trailer in my husband’s face while my kids were home . Then after 5 months of us not living there she claimed we tried to burn her house down when we haven’t lived there in over 5 months and she’s had multiple people live there after us and she just texted us that 5 months after we moved out after we have pictures of the house cleaned and everything turned off . She is unprofessional and a money hungry person .

Pros: Exterior of property is well maintained. Cons: No onsite maintenance, you will normally be charged for repairs. Owner issues passwords for internet, there is no way to change your password once it's issued. It is stated in your lease that owner will make monthly unannounced "safety" inspections, you are issued mailbox keys by the owner who uses a private lock company (keys are not issued by the Cleburne post office). Most units have a washer/dryer installed which you will be paying an extra 200 per month for 6 months, this amount is not included with your initial rent. There is about a 5% chance that you will get any part of your deposit back upon move out, under any circumstances. ( In response to your response,) I am giving you a review, because in fact, I AM a former resident, every aspect of my review is accurate, I have the documentation to prove it .I did not state that you have issues with your internet, I said it is a matter of privacy, you also have a key to all your resident's mailboxes issued through a private lock company. You do not have onsite maintenance, you sub out residents to do repairs as well as the office staff, and as far as having happy residents ,I may have to beg to differ on that point.
