Lone Star Mobile Home Park About

Introduction / Overview

Welcome to the heart of Texas, where community and affordability meet! Lone Star Mobile Home Park, located in the charming town of Keene, offers a unique opportunity for individuals and families seeking a comfortable and cost-effective living solution. Mobile home parks have evolved significantly, moving beyond outdated stereotypes to provide welcoming communities and practical housing options for many Texans. Here, you'll find a living environment designed to offer the benefits of home ownership with a focus on a relaxed pace of life.

Mobile homes, often referred to as manufactured homes, present an appealing alternative to traditional stick-built housing, especially in a state like Texas where value and community are highly prized. They offer the flexibility of homeownership without the typically higher upfront costs associated with purchasing land outright. Lone Star Mobile Home Park aims to provide a space where residents can enjoy their own home while being part of a larger, supportive community.

It's important to note that like any community, mobile home parks can vary. Public reviews of Lone Star Mobile Home Park have indicated that there have been challenges with the property being described as "run down with old old Mobil homes" and a "fire Hazzard waiting to happen" with "empty with piles of old furniture stacked up all along the street." While our aim is to provide factual and informative content, based on publicly available data, it is crucial for prospective residents to visit the property and conduct their own due diligence to assess the current conditions and suitability for their needs.

The park's direct access to US-67 means straightforward commutes for those working in surrounding towns or looking to explore the wider North Texas region. This accessibility is a key benefit, allowing residents to easily connect with local services, employment opportunities, and recreational activities. For instance, Keene is home to Southwestern Adventist University, contributing to the town's vibrant character and offering cultural and educational events. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to natural areas, including Lake Pat Cleburne for boating and fishing, and Cleburne State Park with its hiking and mountain biking trails. These local attractions enhance the appeal of living in Keene, offering a balanced lifestyle for park residents.

We were there on a grass fire but this place is a huge fire Hazzard waiting to happen. Most homes there are empty with piles of old furniture stacked up all along the street. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for any reason.

Crooks. Don't trust this place. Almost rented one of the most private units about 3 years ago or so. They were all ready to go shopping with our deposit mind you it was a week before the 1st of the month and they would not pro rate that week. Wanted the deposit plus the week plus next month. Story changed in person. Not to mention some other fee...As we were there in conversation we mention I had beta fish. You know the kind literally living in a bowl...wanted a deposit per bowl of water...

I have know people that have lived here. The landlord states that they don’t rent places until they are totally fixed but they do. The rental rate was suppose to be $700 and then it ended up being $1175. If you don’t see the amount on the lease don’t believe it. The rent may seem cheap but you will pay with high electric bills and other fees that are required by Melissa. Melisa is not an honest person. Melisa, I am letting you know in advance that I am not in need of a place to stay and if I were I’d probably live under a bridge before I’d stay in your place. It’s unbelievable that you pray on families and make them pay you $50 to do background checks on each of their kids. It seems to me that you are trying to discriminate and keep family’s with fewer or no kids in your park. You are great at threatening others with eviction. I’m wondering if what you are doing is actually legal and will be checking into it.
