Vincennes RV Park, officially known as Lundeens Landing by many locals and regulars, is situated at 500 E Robinson Ln, Vincennes, IN 47591, USA. Its location is a significant draw for those who cherish direct access to natural waterways. The park is nestled right along a river, offering picturesque views and the peaceful ambiance that only riverside camping can provide. For those who "love camping right along the river," this spot is designed to fulfill that desire.
Vincennes itself is a city steeped in history, located in southwestern Indiana. While the immediate surroundings of the RV park offer a serene escape, its proximity to Vincennes means that campers have easy access to local amenities, historical sites, and supplies. This balance between natural beauty and urban convenience makes the park an attractive option.
In terms of accessibility for vehicles, prospective visitors should be aware of a specific detail at the entrance. According to one review, there are "large speed bumps right at the entrance, which are rather tall." While drivers of trucks or SUVs may find these less problematic, those with smaller or lower-sitting vehicles, or those with passengers who have back problems, should consider this aspect. Planning your entry and exit carefully is advisable. Despite this, the overall access to the park from main roads in Vincennes is generally straightforward, leading you directly to its riverside location.
Vincennes RV Park aims to provide a comfortable and convenient stay for its guests, whether for short visits or longer-term residency. Here are some of the key services you can expect:
-
Campsite Reservations: The park operates on an online reservation system. Guests can secure a spot directly online using a credit card, as the park does not accept checks or cash for bookings. This streamlines the booking process for modern convenience.
-
Electric-Only Sites: For campers who prefer a more rustic experience but still require power, electric-only sites are available. This option caters to those who are largely self-contained but need a reliable power source for their RV.
-
Bathroom & Shower Facilities: The park provides communal bathroom and shower facilities, located in a designated "blue building." While some campers may not need these if they have their own RV facilities, they are available for general use, contributing to the overall comfort of the park.
-
Utilities Included in Rent: For longer-term residents or those considering moving their RVs here, a significant benefit is that "everything was included in the rent." This typically means that all essential utilities like electricity, water, and sewer connections are part of the overall rental fee, simplifying budgeting.
-
Long-Term Stay Options: The park is open to accommodating longer-term residents, including those seeking an affordable living solution in an RV. The management is reportedly understanding and accommodating, as indicated by a prospective resident being told that "so long as I clean my RV up, then I'm good to go."
Beyond the basic services, Vincennes RV Park offers several features that enhance the camping experience and contribute to its appeal:
-
Riverside Camping: The most prominent feature is its direct proximity to the river. This allows for scenic views, potential river activities, and a peaceful ambiance that many campers seek.
-
Friendly Owners: Multiple reviews highlight the positive interactions with the park owners, describing them as "super friendly." This often contributes significantly to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
-
Clean Location: The park is generally regarded as a "clean place," a crucial factor for any campground or RV park. This attention to cleanliness helps ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all.
-
Friendly Neighborhood: For those considering longer stays, the presence of a "friendly neighborhood" within the park contributes to a sense of community and security, making it a more appealing place to reside.
-
Playground Area: Families with children will appreciate the inclusion of a "playground in the area," providing a dedicated space for kids to play and enjoy their time at the park.
-
"Nothing Fancy But Perfect": This sentiment from a recurring guest captures the essence of the park for many. It suggests that while it may not be a luxury resort, it offers exactly what is needed for a comfortable and satisfying camping experience without unnecessary frills.
It is important to note, however, that some aspects of the park's infrastructure, particularly the gravel roads, have been mentioned as potentially challenging, especially in winter conditions. A review noted that "gravel roads that are unmaintained in winter (my small car got stuck out there over a week after the last snowstorm)." This is a consideration for visitors, especially those with smaller vehicles, when planning their visit during colder months.

Customer Reviews
Mistake correction... This is LUNDEENS LANDING, not Vincennes RV park. If you love camping right along the river, then this place is for you. Only thing is you secure a spot online with a credit card. No checks no cash. We camped in electric only site. bathroom & showers in blue building, we had no need for them. It's nothing fancy but it's perfect for us. Owners are super friendly. We hope to get back there again.
Times are getting tougher, and I got my hands on a relatively cheap rv. What's initially considering moving out to this area. They told me that so long as I clean my RV up, then I'm good to go. Everything was included in the rent, which also sounded nice, along with the park and everything else. Clean place too. Then I took some deliveries out there, as my job as a delivery driver. The large speed bumps right at the entrance, which are rather tall, was an immediate turn off. My grocery getter car scrapes if I have enough weight in the back seat going over those. That is ridiculous and should not be allowed. That is potentially destructive to smaller or lower sitting vehicles. I already think speed bumps are a lazy form of speed control, and potentially destructive, but those are way too tall, even for speed bump standards. Coming from Windy hill, where they have lousy roads and a speed bump at the top of the hill which isn't quite as tall as the ones at this park, I decided that having speed bumps at the entrance that I was going to have to hit with my car multiple times a day every day was a no-go for me. My partner has back problems, so I'm not doing that to her or my car again. There's other ways to keep speeders down. In the end, I just couldn't. I ended up selecting a place with similar rates (slightly cheaper actually), and not as good of a neighborhood, but slightly better maintained winter roads, and that doesn't punch my car suspension every time I enter or exit. If you drive a truck or suv, that may not be a problem to you. Your mileage May vary. Pros: - all utilities included in rent - playground in the area - clean location - friendly neighborhood Cons: - obnoxious speed bumps at entrance - gravel roads that are unmaintained in winter (my small car got stuck out there over a week after the last snowstorm)
Great place to stay, family owned, quiet, well maintained, super friendly owners, big sites, all new full hookups and most are pull throughs. Stayed at site 12 two months for work and would gladly go back. 4 star rating is only because they didn’t have laundry or WiFi yet, but they are working on that in the future.
Nice well kept great owners
I stayed here for 3 months for a travel nurse contract I enjoyed my stay very much. The park is quite and clean and the long-term guest they have make it feel more like a neighborhood and "homey". The owner was quick to respond the day that I was looking for a place to stay because the place I had planned on staying was not what I had expected they got me in quickly and I'm very thankful for that, I think anybody would enjoy their stay here.
