Not sure if they moved the RV lots or not. But we were in a section that is just for RV's. It's very new and needs work. The lots are not paved and not level. They don't give you a map of how to get in the spaces and the office isn't opened as advertises. These could be improved. Unfortunately, there are 2 things I don't think they could easily correct. (1) - The lots are so close together there isn't any room to sit outside your rig. (2) The placement of the connection poles in the center row is in an awkward place. You can't pull through/hook up without removing your TOAD. I don't think this will ever be more than a place for an overnight stay.

We were parked directly accross from the lake for just one night. I didn't see any loose dogs but there was pleanty of junk. Many long term residants have piled up, rusted out junk piled up outside. The lake view was so beautiful but if I opened the blinds, l also had to look at all that trash. Owner/staff are friendly, the price is dirt cheap, l never felt unsafe. We needed a cheap place to dump, refill, and rest, it filled a need and we're greatful. If it were cleaned up, it would have cost too much. One mans trash is anothers treasure. If I were in that situation again, I would certainly stay again.

We needed a place to live fast. Todd was nice enough to let me and my elderly mom move in immediately at Christmas of 22. God bless them bc it was super cold and gave us a cabin to stay in within 1 day. We were homeless and God touched Todd's heart to let us have a place temporarily.

Stayed for 2 nights. Quiet. Overnight parking sites nothing to write home about but the long term sites are beautiful. Lots of empty RV sites great laundry facility. Super friendly people. Oh and make sure you hook up a pressure regulator for the water or you'll have busted lines for sure. Lake front and dog run friendly.

Displaced from Florida During hurricane Irma. These are the best people ever. Discounted rates, held the spot without a deposit. We left Florida in our RV not knowing what we'd find. We we're blessed to have found Walnut Creek Campground. Very gracious and compassion for all 150+ evacs. They treated us like family. The campground is clean and quiet. Loved it!
