Customer Reviews
William and Sandy are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! Their campground is super cute and quaint. The kids loved the creek and playground. We loved the proximity to Cookeville, Livingston, and Dale Hollow Lake- close to amenities but still have the country feel! William and Sandy have been working hard on the bath house and laundry facility- looks like it’ll be up and running soon! The spots we stayed in near the creek were spacious, with full hookups, a picnic table, and fire ring. Fantastic WiFi. We’ve stayed here multiple times and won’t hesitate to stay again in the future. Thank you for a fabulous stay and experience! We will be back!
This place is all kinds of A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! So small, quiet and peaceful. I stayed there last night and the night before (7/5-7/7 2024). First impression - warmest reception I've ever received at any campground. Will was in the office when I arrived, greeted me with a big smile, got me set up with the campground map and ideas for local attractions (waterfalls), etc. Right as I was about to leave the office and head to my site, Sandy came in from the big patio off the back of the office. Same deal - huge smile, happy to see me, thanking me for stopping by. Once I settled in to site 13, I realized how incredible the creek was...which was about 25 steps from my campsite. It was warm out so it was very nice to put my camp chair in the creek and dangle my toes in the cool water. They also have a nice manicured walking trail along the creek. As I was leaving this morning, I went to drop off my trash at the dumpster in front of the office and go in to thank Will and Sandy for a great experience. Before I could even close the dumpster lid, Sandy was out on the front porch of the office thanking ME. If they could just pick this whole campground up and plop it down somewhere near Orlando, I'd live there!
We stayed here a total of four weeks broken up over the summer. We had a large group and Will and Sandy, the hosts, are wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating. We really loved our stay and felt sadness leaving. The waste water treatment plant is across the creek but there is no sounds or smell whatesoever in any portion of the camp. Our kids (5 total, 4 and under in age) had fun at the playground and loved splashing around in the creek. We hope to keep in touch with the hosts and return to see even more progress they’ve made here.
What a hidden gem. We had the best time at this campground. We spend several days hiking then site seeing, shopping and hanging out with the owners. What a wonderful experience. We had the opportunity of helping them build the new bathroom and laundry room facilities. So peaceful and so pleasant
Nice, clean newer RV park. Owners take very good care of the grounds. Gravel pads and level. Nice play area if you have kids, dog run, nice pond with a patio. They are still adding, we will definitely come back to this campground.
