Wildflower RV Park About
For RV enthusiasts and travelers journeying through the southern part of Texas, finding a convenient and accommodating place to set up camp is always a priority. **Wildflower RV Park** in Devine, TX, offers a stopping point that has garnered mixed but noteworthy feedback from previous guests. It's a location that, while perhaps not fitting every traveler's ideal, has certainly made an impression, particularly due to the attentiveness of its ownership.
Wildflower RV Park is situated at 121 C R 7712, Devine, TX 78016, USA. Devine itself is a small, quiet town in Medina County, Texas, providing a break from the hustle and bustle of larger cities while still offering accessibility to regional attractions. Its location makes it a potential stop for those traveling along major routes in South Texas or exploring the broader area. While some travelers prioritize paved sites, it's important to note that the park's terrain is described as being primarily sand and stickers, which can be a consideration for some RVers. However, its rural setting does provide a sense of quiet and a genuine Texas experience.
- **RV Sites with Hookups:** As an RV park, Wildflower RV Park provides designated sites for recreational vehicles. While specific details on the types of hookups (e.g., 30-amp, 50-amp, water, sewer) are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, RV parks typically offer these essential services to ensure a functional stay. One review specifically mentioned issues with "no breaker on the power," which suggests power hookups are available but may require attention.
- **Accommodation for Various Stays:** The park accommodates both short-term and potentially longer-term guests, catering to those passing through or needing a more extended stay in the Devine area.
- **Pet-Friendly Environment:** While not explicitly stated in the immediate reviews, many RV parks, especially those in more rural settings, are typically pet-friendly, allowing travelers to bring their furry companions along. This is a common expectation for many RVers.
- **Owner Hospitality and Support:** A significant highlight, as expressed by a guest who stayed during the severe blizzard of 2021, is the exceptional care and support provided by the owners. They were noted for ensuring everyone was okay, even going so far as to bring warm food and coffee to a guest experiencing power issues. This level of personal attention and genuine kindness is a rare and highly valued aspect of any accommodation.
- **Potential for Peace and Quiet:** Given its location in Devine, away from major metropolitan areas, the park likely offers a quieter environment compared to RV parks closer to large cities. This can appeal to those seeking a more relaxed and less crowded experience.
- **Affordability (Reported by some, contested by others):** One review mentioned "Cheep place to stay at 40$ a night." While another review explicitly stated "Prices for the site is way too much for what is offered," this suggests a range of perceptions regarding value, and it's possible that rates or offerings have changed or are interpreted differently by various guests. However, the mention of being a "cheap place to stay" indicates it can be an economical option for some.
- **Direct Access to Nature (with considerations):** The natural, undeveloped state of the park, described with "sand and stickers," means direct exposure to the local Texan environment. While some may view this as a challenge, others might appreciate the raw, natural setting, especially if seeking a less manicured camping experience.

Customer Reviews
Prices for the site is way too much for what is offered. Stickers are all over and will come in the rig with sand as there is nothing but sand and stickers. There is no breaker on the power. If I had seen the place prior to coming, I'd find another place to stay. If it rains it is going to be nasty going and coming. I don't begrudge anyone who wants to be in business as I was for 40 years but this place needs to be graveled and a place to sit without being in stickers and sand. I've stayed on Campgrounds that were $40 per note but they were blacktoped 100%. We won't be back.
I was at Wildflower RV in Devine, TX in February during the blizzard of 2021. The family that owns it is wonderful & made sure everyone was OK. Even bringing me warm food and coffee when I had power issues. I will definitely be back!!
Quaint little getaway spot to stay while not wanting the hustle and bustle of major metropolis areas.
Very quiet safe and affordable. A bonus that utilities are included and the price. Will definitely be back
Very helpful and friendly, we would come back again
