Customer Reviews
The lake is crystal clear, the camping is secluded, and there is a well-maintained shower house with real toilets. Also, there is a pretty awesome 13-hole disc golf course on site. Great place to camp! (Note: if you want a more secluded spot request sites 1, 3/4 (same site), 20, 27/28, 39, or 40.)
Such a great place to get away for a weekend of camping. It's quiet, there's not a ton of people, and the lake is absolutely gorgeous! Lots of activities to do if you have enough people and swimming is awesome. There's volleyball and 9 square to play as well as plenty of room to set up yard games. Also, you must check out some of the Amish bakeries in the area. They usually have bake sales on Saturday. The food is out of this world. Overall, highly recommend!
Awesome! Lake is crystal clear, sand bottom, 1/4 mi long. Boats for rent $10/day - just take one from the beach. Virtually no motors. Quiet beautiful location with lots of forest, trails, young white pine grove, and awful advertising. There were only 6 sites used on beautiful July weekend. Pine Lake Camp Methodist camp owns and operates this separate "open to everyone" campground.
Absolutely awesome! Introduced to this wonderful campground by a good friend who's been going there for years. Lack of advertisement only serves to ensure the privacy and splendor of the site... went on a beautiful August day, and no one was there except for the camp host... absolutely delightful!
We love the quiet privacy here, the lake is wonderful and the camp hosts are so sweet! We love everything about it ACCEPT 1 thing. Every year we pre-pay for our site for the same week the next year. And EVERY YEAR we arrive and our sites have been given away to someone else already. This continues o happen after multiple phone calls and reassurances through the year that our site is guaranteed since we have prepaid. When it happened AGAIN this year we were told the loop that holds larger RVs like ours will be closed completly for the month of June from here forward. Now, our friends have been coming here the same week for almost 10 years and it has been happening to to them for 4 years as well...this is our 3rd year and it has happened again. With the future "closing of the loop" we feel very much like all of us are basically being kicked out for being upset that they continue to dishonor their word and give away our sites! Apparently loyal customers who pay in advance are not of any value to this campground. For that reason I cannot recommend this campground any longer.
