Wildwood RV Village offers a range of features and highlights designed to enhance the stay for its guests, focusing on both relaxation and convenience:
It is important to address some common feedback regarding the park's environment. Some guests have noted noise from the adjacent highway (I-75) and truck stop. While this is often a trade-off for such direct highway access, it's a factor to consider for those who prioritize absolute quiet. Additionally, some reviews mention the absence of individual picnic tables or fire rings at sites, which might be a disappointment for campers who enjoy these traditional amenities. The park's overall aesthetic has been described as having "dirt sites," and the lack of a fence separating the park from the highway has been mentioned as a safety concern by some. These points suggest that while the park offers great convenience and essential facilities, the rustic nature of some sites and the surrounding environment are factors to consider.
As a popular campground, Wildwood RV Village often participates in various discount programs and may offer special rates. It's always advisable to contact the park directly for the most current promotions and availability, as these can change seasonally or based on demand.

For many Floridians, the ability to quickly pull off a major interstate, access nearby dining, and have a straightforward place to park with full hookups outweighs minor noise considerations. Whether you’re embarking on a longer Florida road trip or simply seeking a convenient and amenity-rich spot to enjoy a local escape, Wildwood RV Village provides a functional, friendly, and highly accessible base for your adventures in the heart of the Sunshine State.
The restrooms/showers were very clean and we were thankful for the laundry facility. The pool looked nice but there weren't any other outdoor games like shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball. We were disappointed that no one had a picnic table or a fire ring. We were also disappointed with the noise from the truck stop and highway 75. I would have felt a little safer if there had been a fence or something between us and the highway and truckstop.
Mar 17, 2025 · Lori StearnsGreat overnight stop. Right off the highway and you can walk to several places for food. Office staff very friendly. Huge place, good dog walking. Majority seasonals but transient sites completely separate. Truck stop right next door if you are opposed to some noise from that or highway probably not the place for you. Would stop again for overnight.
Mar 19, 2025 · Mary Ellen SeveranceNot happy with these people. First place that has ever turned my rig away. We have stayed at places across the country with no issues (Disney/Keys). This place must be very fancy. From the other reviews it does not look fancy. Thanks for putting me in this situation days before arrival.
Feb 22, 2025 · Buck KimbroughWe have stayed here twice and like the convenience and bathrooms. However; They easily refuse discounts and keep your money. As a Good Sams Member, we expected to receive the discount that our membership provides. Wildwood RV has a Good Sam campground partnership. Booking online does not work for this discount unless you have a code. The code is not provided under their website "Promotions" and to complete your reservation you must provide payment. I made a note on my reservation that I am a Good Sams member and then promptly stopped into the office during my stay to check on the discount. I was told they could not process a credit card return or refund to a credit card on their credit card system and they would look into it. After no response, I contacted the General Manger, Julie Kleer, and again was denied the Good Sams discount with the new reason that it could not be refunded after the stay. Be forewarned. If you are a Good Sams Member, call them for the code ahead of time or reserve by phone.
Jan 18, 2025 · Cathy and Bruce MarcheseOMG, we tried to book online, couldn't so we called. Online price $60 something, when you called $80 something. We arrive and they put us by they're pond... what a joke. Asked why we can't be put in the back where it's quieter and I'm told those are long term. Asked why they have camping in their parking lot.. that's our short term. Wouldn't recommend this place. We love to camp but not here. Read the reviews...long term residents sure are complaining. Wish we would have read them before we arrived, sounds like new ownership is all about the $$$
