For Illinois locals seeking a housing solution in the Tilton area, Coachlight Mobile Home Park presents a distinct option that may be suitable for those prioritizing affordability and a potentially quieter living environment.

Firstly, manufactured home parks typically offer a more budget-friendly alternative to traditional housing. This can be a significant advantage for individuals and families in Illinois who are looking to manage their housing costs effectively while still enjoying a standalone home with a yard. The noted lot rent of around $260 a month (excluding water) suggests an accessible entry point for many, although it's crucial to understand all associated costs and compare them with other local housing options.

Secondly, the park's location in Tilton, a village adjacent to Danville, provides a quieter residential setting. The positive feedback about it being "fairly nice and quiet" indicates that for many residents, the park delivers on a peaceful living experience.

However, it is vital for prospective residents to acknowledge and proactively investigate the concerns raised in some reviews. Issues regarding difficulty contacting management or owners, and more seriously, reports of safety incidents involving gunfire, are significant and cannot be overlooked. While the positive experience of one resident moving their mother-in-law in without problems highlights a potentially stable environment for some, the concerns about management responsiveness and safety warrant direct inquiry.

Therefore, for Illinois locals who are seeking an affordable housing solution in a quieter setting and are prepared to conduct thorough due diligence, including personally visiting the park, speaking directly with management about communication protocols, maintenance schedules, and security measures, Coachlight Mobile Home Park could be a suitable option. A clear understanding of the park's current operational practices and a personal assessment of the environment are essential steps to determine if it truly aligns with one's expectations for a safe and well-managed home.

Fairly nice and quiet mobile home park. Not had a problem since we moved my MIL in there. It could be a little better maintained especially with how much lot rent is. 260ish a month and that doesn't include water. There is also no clear way to get ahold of management or owners.

It is terrible..I would go in trailer clean a little and I would set on porch steps. And cry a little. Me and my son have lived in Coachlight since 2000. So much has changed..my last visit was shattered by gunfire at 12pm I spoke with police officer he said I heard gunfire it was domestic violence in the park. I was scared of this place now. And scared for my son and his dog.

Didn't say it was okay, the new owners refuse to fix stuff and keep raising the rent. I moved in here 11 yrs ago and it was $135, now it's $245 plus $11 for garbage. It's the only park I have lived in, I bought the trailer complete and just moved in.

Horrible people who lie and take advantage of tenants. I was promised a new window upon moving into my home and they installed a new broken window and now will not replace that one. They do horrible work and overcharge for the quality they offer.

Great Place to live although management does not keep in touch with renters nor responds back with your needs
