Services Offered

Madison Campground focuses on providing essential services that enhance the comfort and convenience of its campers. These include:

  • RV Sites: All sites are pull-through, offering full hookups with water, sewer, and electric (likely 30 and 50 amp service). This design is highly convenient for easy setup and departure, even for larger rigs. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring (which can be brought out upon request, allowing for easier mowing).
  • Tent Sites: While the primary focus appears to be on RVs with full hookups, it is generally expected that a campground would offer basic tenting options, possibly with water and electric access. It's best to confirm tent site availability and amenities directly with the campground.
  • Exceptionally Clean Bathrooms & Showers: Consistently praised by guests for being "SUPER CLEAN," these facilities are a major highlight, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic experience.
  • On-site Laundry Facilities: Available for campers who need to refresh their wardrobe during longer stays.
  • Game Room: A very nice and clean game room featuring amenities such as a valley pool table in perfect condition and a Pac-Man arcade game. This offers indoor entertainment, especially useful on rainy days or in the evenings.
  • Outdoor Games for Rent: A variety of outdoor games are available for rent, providing additional entertainment options for families and groups.
  • Firewood Sales: Conveniently available for purchase on-site, ensuring you can enjoy a campfire at your site.
  • Pet-Friendly Policy: The campground accommodates pets, understanding that many campers travel with their furry companions. Specific rules (e.g., leash policy, waste cleanup) would apply.
  • Staff Assistance: Friendly and helpful staff are available to assist with needs, such as delivering fire rings to campsites.

Promotions or Special Offers

Specific, real-time promotions for Madison Campground are best confirmed directly with their office. However, based on common practices for campgrounds of this type, especially those serving a local clientele or travelers, you might inquire about:

  • Weekly Rates: Many campgrounds offer reduced rates for extended stays, such as a week or more, compared to daily rates. This would be beneficial for those visiting family or exploring the area for longer periods.
  • Off-Peak Season Discounts: During the quieter times of the year (e.g., early spring or late fall before peak summer), rates might be lower.
  • Loyalty Programs: For repeat visitors, it's always worth asking if they offer any loyalty incentives or discounts for returning customers.
  • Special Event Rates: While not explicitly advertised, during large local events in Madison (like Badger football games or festivals), campgrounds sometimes have special package rates or may require minimum stays. Conversely, they might offer different rates during very quiet periods.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding current rates, specific availability, and any ongoing special offers, it is highly recommended to contact Madison Campground directly via phone or visit their official website if available.

We have family that lives in the Madison area, so this was an awesome place to pull our camper and have our own space! We have two German shepherds, so our camper is much better for us than a hotel room. Not a place I’d go and spend the day at, but great location to park and stay! Bathrooms/showers were SUPER CLEAN! (We came Easter Weekend, so it was really quiet but the spots seem nice even if it’s busy) We definitely will be staying here many more times!

I would consider this a City campground. My wife and I pulled in on the Saturday of memorial Day and the staff of three young ladies were extremely pleasant and helpful. We noticed there was not a fire ring so my wife went to the office and they said they pick them up so it's easier to mow and they will bring one out to us. It was delivered in less than 4 minutes. They have a very nice clean game room with a valley pool table that is in perfect shape, a Pac-Man arcade game along with many other outside games to rent. They are working on the pool as I write this review as it's not quite ready and that is a little disappointing. All the sites are pulled through with full hookup. Personally we like the campground and we will definitely be back!!!

Nice Campground right off the freeway. The water pressure to the site could be better. The sites are nice with gravel and grass. You have to ask for a fire ring at the office. They need A LOT MORE TREES!!! I wouldn't camp during the not summer as a lot of the sites did NOT have a tree for shade.

We was on Madison Campground the second time and had a great time again. The amenities are perfect and the 2 dog parks are important to us. Right in front of the campground is a super nice cheese store, lots of eateries are in walking distance. State police headquarter is next to the campground entrance, how much safer you can feel?

Sites are awkward sizes, not alot of room for kids to play on the site, they do have a playground option. Dog park is not mowed, spent 10 days there and no mowing done, someone came with a weedwacker and did some spots on the site which only coved the rv with grass, staff is friendly, laundry room clean, good location from expressway.
