The famous trailer park scene from 8 mile movie was shot here. I always wanted to get out to this road here in Detroit as it is the most famous road of all where Eminem Marshall matters was born and raised!
While I found the quaint atmosphere quite endearing and the history behind it beyond interesting, I found the amount of crack heads and stray cats a great annoyance so I was unfortunately force to decrease my score one star because of all the cranked up homies. P.S. the ominous screams of a women in pain did leave me with a mystery and a hope of one day visiting again to experience pure Detroit yet again.
