American RV Park LLC. About

For Alabamians who enjoy the RV lifestyle, finding the right park can significantly impact the quality of their travels. When considering options in the Summerdale area, American RV Park LLC is one of the choices that may come up. While public feedback on this particular park presents a mixed picture, it’s important to understand the available information to make an informed decision about your stay.

The RV community in Alabama is diverse, with travelers seeking everything from luxurious resort experiences to simple, convenient overnight stops. American RV Park LLC, located in Summerdale, aims to serve a segment of this community. It's crucial for prospective guests to be aware of all aspects of a park, including both its perceived strengths and any challenges that previous visitors have encountered. This article will present publicly available information and customer feedback to help you determine if American RV Park LLC aligns with your expectations for an RV stay in our beautiful state.

Reviews from past customers offer candid insights into their experiences. Some reports mention issues such as muddy conditions, power outages, and concerns regarding management and park rules, including restrictions on visitors. There are also indications that the park's operational status might be uncertain, with one review suggesting it might be closed. While these are critical points, it's essential to consider them in the context of your own priorities for an RV park. This overview will provide a factual summary based on the information provided, without inventing details, to give you a clearer picture.

Location and Accessibility

American RV Park LLC is located at 201 AL-59, Summerdale, AL 36580, USA. This address places it directly on a primary state highway, Alabama State Route 59, which is a major artery connecting various towns in Baldwin County, including Foley, Gulf Shores, and Robertsdale. For Alabamians, this location offers straightforward accessibility, making it relatively easy to reach from different parts of the state.

Summerdale itself is a small but growing community in Baldwin County, offering a quieter atmosphere compared to the more bustling coastal towns. However, its position on AL-59 means that larger cities and popular attractions are still within a reasonable driving distance. Foley, with its Tanger Outlets and OWA Parks & Resort, is just south, and the famous white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores are a bit further south, typically within a 30-40 minute drive depending on traffic.

The immediate surroundings of American RV Park LLC, being on a state highway, suggest a balance between rural tranquility and access to necessary services. While direct proximity to major amenities might vary, the location generally provides a convenient base for exploring the diverse offerings of Lower Alabama, from agricultural landscapes to coastal recreation. For travelers prioritizing easy access to main roads over being deep within a quiet, residential area, the park's location on AL-59 could be seen as an advantage.

Services Offered

Based on typical offerings for RV parks, and considering the limited detailed positive information available for American RV Park LLC, we can infer some standard services that would generally be provided. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that recent customer feedback suggests potential issues with service delivery and availability. Traditionally, RV parks aim to provide:

  • RV Sites with Hookups: Most RV parks offer individual sites equipped with essential hookups, including electrical connections (e.g., 20/30/50 amp), water, and sewer. These are fundamental for RV functionality.
  • Space for RVs: Sites are typically designed to accommodate various RV sizes, from travel trailers to motorhomes, with adequate space for parking and slide-outs.
  • Basic Ground Maintenance: Parks generally maintain their grounds to some degree, ensuring roads are passable and common areas are functional.

However, it is important to note that specific reviews for American RV Park LLC mention issues such as "mud everywhere" at some sites, and a significant complaint about "Riviera power" turning off power to the "whole campground," making for a "not very very very fair or fun" stay. These comments suggest that the reliable provision of basic services might have been an issue for past guests. Additionally, there are no specific details publicly available about amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or Wi-Fi being consistently provided or in good working order.

Features / Highlights

Given the nature of the provided customer reviews for American RV Park LLC, it is challenging to list typical "features" or "highlights" in a promotional sense, as the feedback primarily focuses on negative experiences. However, a factual interpretation of the provided information allows us to identify certain aspects mentioned by guests, even if those aspects led to dissatisfaction. It's important to approach these as reported facts rather than promotional points.

  • Individual Sites: The park offers individual sites for campers, implying space for personal RV setup.
  • On-site Power Hookups: While noted to have issues with power outages according to one review, sites are intended to have electrical connections available.
  • Proximity to Summerdale & AL-59: Its location on a major state highway is a factual feature, offering direct road access and proximity to the town of Summerdale.

The reviews unfortunately highlight certain negative aspects that significantly impact the perceived "features" from a guest perspective:

  • Muddy Conditions: One reviewer explicitly mentioned "mud everywhere" and that "every camper was I mean just someone we write down some of them," indicating potential issues with drainage or site maintenance.
  • Power Outages: A severe issue reported was that "the Riviera power Cayman turn the power off to the whole camp ground," which would be a critical failure for any RV park.
  • Management/Landlord Conduct: Multiple reviews strongly criticize the "landlord" or "management" for being "very rude and very disrespectful," making guests feel uncomfortable and alleging inappropriate behavior and strict rules (e.g., "not allowed to have company," "not allowed to have nobody sleep over").
  • Surveillance Concerns: The mention of "watch dogs which is people riding all night in their vehicle watching you" points to concerns about privacy and a potentially unwelcoming atmosphere for guests.

Due to these severe negative reports, traditional highlights like recreational facilities, clean amenities, or a welcoming atmosphere are not evident in the provided reviews. Instead, the features highlighted by customers are those that caused significant dissatisfaction.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the extremely limited and predominantly negative public information available for American RV Park LLC, there are no details whatsoever regarding promotions or special offers. RV parks typically advertise seasonal discounts, weekly/monthly rates, or specific deals, but such information is absent in the provided data and does not appear to be publicly promoted through typical channels, especially given the reported operational issues.

In light of the customer reviews, which include serious allegations about service reliability and management conduct, any potential visitor should prioritize direct communication with the park to verify its current operational status, available amenities, and any terms of stay before making any commitments. The absence of promotional details aligns with the overall picture of a park with significant challenges in its public presence and customer satisfaction.

Contact Information

For any inquiries regarding American RV Park LLC, including its current operational status, availability, or to address any concerns, the publicly available contact details are:

  • Address: 201 AL-59, Summerdale, AL 36580, USA
  • Phone: (251) 979-8654
  • Mobile Phone: +1 251-979-8654

Given the significant negative feedback and questions raised in customer reviews about the park's operations and management, it is highly recommended to exercise extreme caution and attempt to contact the park directly via these numbers before making any plans or payments. Verification of its current open status and a clear understanding of its policies and services are crucial given the public comments suggesting a poor experience and potential closure.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

Given the overwhelmingly negative and severe customer reviews provided, which include allegations of poor living conditions (mud everywhere), critical utility failures (power turned off), highly problematic management behavior (rude, disrespectful, inappropriate conduct, strict rules on visitors, alleged surveillance), and questions about the park's current operational status ("pretty sure it's closed down now"), it is not possible to construct a conclusion that factually supports this place being "suitable for locals" from a friendly, professional, or promotional perspective. Directly advising Alabamians to consider this park, based on the provided data, would be irresponsible and contradict the factual information.

Instead, a factual and responsible conclusion must reflect the available data. For Alabamians seeking an RV park in the Summerdale area, American RV Park LLC, based on the provided public reviews, appears to have significant and critical issues. The concerns raised by past customers regarding the landlord's conduct, severe restrictions on visitors, surveillance, inconsistent power supply, and general maintenance (muddy conditions) suggest that this location may not offer the safe, comfortable, or welcoming environment typically sought by RV travelers.

Furthermore, the explicit mention of potential closure and difficulties in obtaining refunds are major red flags that any local Alabamian should take very seriously. While the intention of this content is to be informative and promote local businesses, it must always remain factual. In this instance, the factual information strongly suggests that American RV Park LLC, as depicted by recent reviews, currently falls far short of being a suitable or recommendable option for locals or any prospective RV guests. It is strongly advised that any interested parties conduct thorough independent verification of the park's operational status and current conditions before considering a stay.

Landlord is very rude and very disrespectful if you dont sleep with him he kicks you out. You're not allowed to have company and you're not allowed to have nobody sleep over even if your family is out of town. They have watch dogs which is people riding all night in their vehicle watching you

I wouldn't refer anyone to this place the owner is a drunk that fabricates things, they play games with your belongings all around it's a very poor mismanaged sad excuse of a campground, I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to move in this place if hell was freezing over
