As a KOA Holiday location, Baton Rouge KOA Holiday is part of the larger KOA network, which frequently offers promotions and special deals for campers. While specific real-time promotions can vary, there are a couple of notable types of offers that are often available to KOA campers:
- KOA Rewards Appreciation Weekend: This is a popular annual event where KOA Rewards holders can stay as a paying guest on a Friday (e.g., September 5, 2025) and get the following Saturday (e.g., September 6, 2025) for FREE. This offer is designed to thank loyal KOA Rewards holders and provides a fantastic opportunity for a discounted weekend getaway. It applies to one site per KOA Rewards account for two consecutive nights at the same participating KOA.
- Care Camps Big Weekend: Another heartwarming initiative is the Care Camps Big Weekend (e.g., May 8-9, 2026). During this event, staying at a participating KOA campground on the designated Friday and Saturday means that 50% of the cost of your site on the second night is donated to Care Camps, a foundation that supports medically supervised pediatric oncology camps for children with cancer. This allows campers to enjoy their stay while contributing to a great cause.
Beyond these nationwide KOA promotions, individual KOA campgrounds may also offer their own seasonal specials or discounts for extended stays. It's always advisable to visit the Baton Rouge KOA Holiday's official website or call them directly to inquire about any current "hot deals" or specific promotions that might be available for your planned visit. Being a KOA Rewards member can unlock various benefits, so it's worth looking into if you plan on camping frequently at KOA locations.

Customer Reviews
Traveling in a41ft Class A towing ajeep. The people that work here are outstanding. Very nice and accommodating. We had cancelled our reservation the day before arrival due to mechanical issues. After getting a temporary fix i called to try to reinstate our reservation and even though it was a busy holiday weekend and our spot had been reserved they were able to find us a place. We didn't use any amenities but the park seemed clean and well kept. The downside for is was not much grass for potty time with the pups (although there is a dog run). On our second day we discovered a public park in back of the KOA with an access path from the campground. It was lovely with a great walking trail, large dog park and many other activities. I wish we had known about it when we got there. I would stay again.
We tent camped for a few days. We found the service to be excellent and the owners are very kind. The tent sites are nice and clean but very hot as there is no shade. Pool is nice, laundry facilities and bathroom are very clean. Our only complaint or suggestion for at least those in the tent sites is maybe make the lights go off at a certain time as It was very bright and very hard to sleep.
We stopped for one night in our 42 ft fifth wheel. Check in was good and friendly. We were escorted to a site. The site was a good fit with easy access in and out. The sites seem older with uneven concrete. My concern are the many trees that seem to be dying. The park needs to take care of them before they damage someone's camper or vechile.
From the moment i called for reservations, i was helped by such kindness. Exceptionally friendly smiling faces welcomed me upon arrival. Sites are large paved and level. So much to do, wish I had more time and better weather to enjoy it all. Great playground for kids, my dog lived the dog park. If given an opportunity, I'd invite my friend to meet here for few days. It would be so fun. I definitely will return.
This KOA is very well maintained. We chose to stay in a cabin and it was great! They have a pool, hot tub, mini golf a picnic area and everything was neat and clean. Our cabin was cozy and clean. They keeps the grass mowed and trimmed well. The front desk was very kind and cheerful. We will return again. Not too far from the LSU campus, maybe 15 minutes.
