Customer Reviews
We love this seasonal campground. The campground community is what makes this place great! Every summer we look forward to spending our time here.
Small nice area for a get a away weekend. My family had a get together and the area is nice. The bathrooms are in good condition. The only complaint I have is that there are several children driving around on golf carts, but when my daughter was driving one, she got stopped and asked for her license once (which she does have) and told to slow down when she was completely stopped. Then my niece was driving around and then also immediately stopped. It seems they treat visitors different than those who live there. The other kids riding around were no older than 11 or 12 and I doubt they were told anything, as they rode around the entire day we were there. Just be aware if you have teens and they ride the carts.
Man I don’t even know where to start. We tent camped for 2 nights. Price was $70 for both nights per site which I feel is very reasonable. The lake is beautiful. The beach is clean and very relaxing to chill out at. Bath house/ restroom is super clean and well maintained. The only negative thing I can say is I wish the shower water was adjustable for temperature. The store/ office: everyone working is super friendly and makes you want to feel at home like they have known you forever. The ice cream is amazing, and they have all the essentials you’ll need if you forget something. Ice, firewood, aloe, advil, etc! The site we were on had full hookups for campers and what not, so it’s not like they put you off somewhere just because you have a tent. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a getaway right on a beautiful lake! I will be back in the future
The bunkhouse trailer rental was not a great experience, no working lights in the bathroom (had to use my own lanterns), very used and almost nonexistent thin mattress on the bunk beds with stained covers, did not use them. Not all lighting would work in the main area, very worn couch and cushions in the dining area with peeling flooring with a screen door that would not stay closed unless the outside door was closed and it was held on by yarn. All in all not a great experience. No where near the picture posted online.
The park is ok. It's really not built for large rigs. Roads are kinda narrow. Unfortunately our site was right next to the over flowing dumpsters so our rig smelled of garbage each time we opened the door. There's a covered tent for the residents which is nice for them. Not us. They were partying until almost 2 am drove my dogs crazy all night. People walk right through your site when ever they want. Lots of stuff in the area to do which was nice. There's a lake there which looks very nice. And some pretty nice people there. The young girl is the office was super nice and polite. Shes only 16 but handles herself wonderfully. She tried to correct the people walking thru sites but it didn't help. I give her a 10 in customer care. She even came by in the evening to see if there was anything she could do. Laundry room was out of order the entire 2 weeks we were there. The maintenance man came by and cut the low hanging branches off our roof or we would have taken them with us, so that was nice.
