Understanding the amenities and the overall experience before you arrive can significantly enhance your travel plans. We’ll explore its location advantages, the services you can expect, and what makes it a notable option for those looking for an affordable and convenient stop. While every traveler's experience can vary, our goal is to provide a factual and balanced perspective based on publicly available information, helping you make an informed decision as you plan your journey through Arkansas.
Brinkley RV Park is conveniently located at 2005 N Main St, Brinkley, AR 72021, USA. This address places it strategically in Brinkley, a city often considered a gateway to various parts of Arkansas due to its position along major routes. Its proximity to significant highways makes it an ideal stop for those traveling long distances across the state or just passing through. The park's location offers easy access from the highway, which is a major benefit for RVers looking for minimal detours and quick entry and exit.
Brinkley itself is situated in eastern Arkansas, offering a central point for exploring various attractions within the region. While the park is noted to be between a truck stop and the highway, this can be a positive for some, providing immediate access to fuel and other services that a truck stop might offer, such as convenience stores or quick-service food options. The presence of bright spot lights ensures the area is well-lit, contributing to a sense of security, especially for those arriving after dark. The accessibility of the park means less time spent navigating complex city streets and more time relaxing after a day of travel.
While Brinkley RV Park appears to focus on providing essential services for an overnight or short-term stay, it's important to understand what you can generally expect. Based on user experiences, the core offering is a place to park your RV with basic utility connections. The following are typical services you would look for in an RV park, and what can be inferred or confirmed for Brinkley RV Park:
- RV Parking Spots: The park provides dedicated spots for RVs. Some users have noted these spots can be muddy and uneven, which is something to consider, especially during wetter seasons.
- Electrical Hookups: Essential for most RVs, electrical hookups are generally available. However, one review mentioned inconsistency with the electricity working, suggesting it might be "hit and miss." It's advisable to check the functionality upon arrival.
- Water Hookups: Typically, RV parks offer water connections for fresh water supply to your RV. While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, this is a standard expectation.
- Sewer Hookups: For longer stays or convenience, sewer hookups allow for direct waste disposal. This is another common RV park amenity, though specific confirmation for each site at Brinkley RV Park isn't available.
- Lighting: The park is described as "well lit" with "big spot lights," which enhances visibility and safety, particularly during nighttime arrivals or departures.
It's important for potential visitors to manage expectations regarding additional amenities beyond these basic hookups. The reviews suggest a more utilitarian approach, focusing on providing a spot to park with essential services rather than a resort-style experience.
Brinkley RV Park offers several features that, while perhaps not luxurious, contribute to its suitability as a practical RV stop in Arkansas:
- Affordable Pricing: One significant highlight is the pricing. At $30 for an overnight stay (based on one user review), Brinkley RV Park presents itself as a budget-friendly option for travelers, making it an attractive choice for those looking to economize their travel expenses.
- Convenient Location: Its placement between a truck stop and a highway is a double-edged sword. While some might find the proximity to the highway a source of noise (though one review stated noise was not excessive), it undeniably offers unparalleled convenience for quick access to and from major routes, reducing travel time and hassle.
- Well-Lit Environment: The presence of "big spot lights" ensures the park is well-lit at night. This can be a significant factor for safety and comfort, especially for late-night arrivals or departures.
- Sense of Safety (for some): Despite some of the challenges mentioned in reviews, one user specifically stated, "I felt safe," indicating that for some, the general environment feels secure, even with other campers present.
- Ease of Access: Its location on North Main Street, directly off a major thoroughfare, means easy navigation for even the largest RVs, avoiding tight turns or residential streets.
These features position Brinkley RV Park as a functional and economical choice for RVers who prioritize convenience and affordability over extensive amenities or a pristine environment.

However, it is always a good practice to inquire about any potential deals, especially for longer stays or during off-peak seasons, when you contact the park directly. While some customer feedback highlights areas for improvement, understanding its core offering helps local users – and those visiting from out of state – determine if it aligns with their needs.

By managing expectations and utilizing the provided contact information for direct inquiries, RVers can make an informed decision to ensure a smooth and budget-friendly stop on their Arkansas adventures.
Customer Reviews
If I could give it less than 1 star ⭐ I would. This place is a dump...it's hit and miss on the electric working and when I called about it, I was told to talk to one of the other campers on how to work it (3 that looked like they stay there long term). Grass or should I say weeds had not been mowed in a while and the "bath house" looked like a condemned building. Pot holes everywhere. Owners only care about the money and not your comfort. RUN, DON'T STOP! We asked for our money back and left...it's a dump and not worth any amount of money to park... I wouldn't park there for free!
I read the other reviews after our stay. We had a good uneventful overnight stay here. The spots are muddy and uneven but it's well lit (big spot lights). It is between a truck stop and the highway (noise was not excessive). The only issue we encountered was two dogs roaming the area (we travel with dogs). I felt safe and there were 2 other campers who pulled in when we did. The price was good ($30).
Very sketchy. It's a parking lot behind a motel. Weeds growing all over. Electrical boxes were rusted. I wouldn't trust them to not catch fire. There was just one old van parked which looked like some dude's been living there for a while. No security and didn't look like there were lights. We didn't feel safe.
This THE worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Parking lot behind a motel, right next to the truckers parking lot with engines running. So, not quiet at all, in fact, very noisy. Electric outlets were non functional - we switched spots twice before we found one that was working. But worst of all, the place feels sketchy. We locked the door to our trailer at night which we had never done before. If I had been by myself I would have moved on.
Stayed here twice in a month, once by myself, once with family while traveling across the country. It changed to a Super 8 the last time I stayed. Price was reasonable. Room was OK. I had no real complaints, but everything seemed to be done as cheaply as possible. The bathroom was very small too. But the room itself was relatively large. They do accept dogs. They told me it was normally $10 additional charge, but waived it. Would stay again just to sleep and move on, but would not spend any time here.
