The philosophy behind Burlington RV Park, LLC, appears to be focused on delivering precisely what RVers need for a comfortable stay: reliable utilities. Burlington RV Park, LLC is situated at 1420 Hudson St, Burlington, KS 66839, USA. Its location is a key factor in its appeal, particularly for those traveling through Kansas. While it's noted as being a short distance from I-70 (likely referring to its general proximity within the region, given that I-70 runs much further north of Burlington, implying it's a convenient detour from major routes like US-75 or Kansas Turnpike), its true strength lies in its access to Burlington itself. This means essential services, including fuel, groceries, and local dining options, are readily available, making resupply and convenience paramount for travelers.
A point to note from previous visitors is that finding the park via GPS can sometimes be a bit tricky due to "weird intersections." This highlights the importance of potentially contacting the park manager for specific directions, especially if arriving late or unfamiliar with the area. Despite this minor navigational quirk, the overall accessibility to the town of Burlington and its role as a convenient stopover remains a significant advantage.
The park's positioning within Burlington allows RVers to easily access the town’s features and attractions, including the nearby John Redmond Reservoir, which offers fishing, boating, and other recreational opportunities. For locals, this means a convenient place to park their RV when visiting Burlington, perhaps for events, family gatherings, or simply to enjoy the charm of the community without needing to set up a full camp. The practical location, prioritizing ease of access to necessary services and routes, is a defining characteristic of Burlington RV Park, LLC.

The park’s emphasis on being a "no-frills" establishment suggests that its appeal lies in its core offerings at an accessible price point, rather than through complex promotional deals.
However, it is always advisable for potential visitors, especially local Kansans considering a longer stay or a group booking, to contact the park directly. While cash-only payment is noted, discussing potential arrangements for extended stays or any unadvertised local discounts might be possible. The ability to accommodate large rigs, including those up to 65 feet, is another benefit, ensuring that even Kansans with bigger RV setups can find a suitable place. The availability of pull-thru sites further adds to the convenience, simplifying arrival and departure. Even with the occasional need to contact the manager for assistance (e.g., with Wi-Fi), the responsiveness via phone ensures that any issues are addressed, contributing to a generally positive experience.
In essence, Burlington RV Park, LLC serves as a highly functional, dependable, and accessible option for Kansan RVers. It provides the fundamental services required for a comfortable overnight or short-term stay, allowing locals to enjoy their travels or visit the Burlington area with peace of mind regarding their RV accommodations.
Customer Reviews
After reading the reviews and speaking with the pleasant “camp host” we stopped in for a one night stay with our 65’ total length rig-which pulled right in and fit like a glove! Clean, no frills full hook up sites a short distance from I-70. Pleased enough with our stay to mark it as an “overnighter” in the log book.
This is a very basic campground with no amenities. Full hookups, some pull-thru sites. No staff on site. When we arrived, we called the manager who said she was two hours away. We told her that we picked a site, and she switched our reservation to that site. It wouldn't have mattered, because there were very few sites occupied while we were there overnight. The WiFi wasn't working when we arrived, but the manager got it working when she finally arrived at the campground about four hours later. It is a cash-only stay - good thing we still had some cash left after our 3-week journey! Although it was convenient to the Interstate, the campground was hard to find on GPS because of a couple weird intersections. We were glad for the stopover, but we probably wouldn't stay there again.
Could not have a nicer host, was so helpful and answered our questions about the area. The GPS brought us in a round about way but he told us one turn exit to use as we left. A nice clean place.
Wonderful and clean RV Park. Larry brought us to our site and made us feel very comfortable. Full hook up and 50 amp service, great WiFi. Extremely reasonable rate, much less than expected for all of the services. We stayed in our 40 foot class A with toad. Big rig friendly, right off Route75.
Great location for remote working or just visiting the area. Lots of space between RV's with grass and no dust from adjacent roads. Lots of trees within and surround the park and several sites have shade. Quiet place, no highway noise or rowdy neighbors. Good WiFi and reasonable prices.
