What can I say...Darren is an incredible host and his property is amazing with many things to do and see. A blue hole is on the property as well as an overlook, and while the cabins may not have their own bathrooms, the common area with bathrooms and kitchen and common space with billiards table and table tennis table are amazing. With the area's waterfalls and hikes, this is ground zero. At the time of this review, the property is closed due to Hurricane Helene, but when it opens up in the spring, do yourself a favor and book and enjoy the hospitality of Darren and all that the area has to offer!

Darren opened up a cabin for my wife and I while we both worked to do whatever was needed. Darren is an amazing pillar in his community and is someone I have great respect for by his actions to help his community. Anyone who visits here will be blessed in many ways.

This was the coolest place I’ve ever stayed. The kitchen is awesome. Fully stocked with everything you could ever need, including an air fryer. Everything in the kitchen was spotless clean. The place is stocked with games and activities. We shot bow and arrows and threw axes for hours. We had so much fun! The bathrooms were very clean and nice. The shower was very roomy which was neat. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Darren made sure EVERYTHING was taken care of. We forgot to get stuff for smores and he brought us some without us even asking. I highly recommend this place. Buy you some groceries for your trip and you’ll never have to leave the property.

Serenity is the only way to describe this place. The ambience of the creek paired with the sun flirting through the trees make it an oasis for forgetting the world. Caught plenty of rainbows on the creek on the property as well as catching sun fish with the kids at the pond on-site so bring a rod and reel. The owner is super friendly and made sure we were good on everything. Gunner is the camp supervisor (his super friendly dog) and they have one of the best campgrounds we’ve been to, with Michelin star cleanliness! Close to anything and away from everything, the location is perfect. My only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer…..this time. We’ll be back for sure!
