I can’t say enough about how great the campground, and the team is at HiYo! Absolutely beautiful park. Our 3rd year here, great for seasonal and overnights. The deluxe cabin is a favorite of our family.

We spent the last several years at this campground, and it truly felt like a second home. My kids loved it, and we built an incredible community of friends who became like family. Unfortunately, that was all taken away from us due to poor management and false allegations. The new manager, Judy, made a decision about us without ever speaking to me directly. She claims that certified letters were sent to me as a form of communication; however, I never received or signed for any such letters, and when I asked for proof, she ignored me. Instead of addressing any concerns or having a conversation, she acted based on misinformation and refused to communicate. It’s clear that Judy is running things based on personal bias rather than facts. Additionally, several families reached out to property management in an attempt to help me stay, but they never received any response. This campground could be a great place, but under this management, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Communication is nonexistent, and decisions are made unfairly. If you choose to stay here, be careful—Judy plays favorites, and if you end up on her bad side (even without knowing why), you could be next.

I have been camping here since 2019 on the hill and then seasonally for 4 years. We decided to leave at the end of 2024 season due to some unfortunate circumstances but scheduled several weekends for the 2025 season on the hill. We received messages from Judy saying how happy she was that we would be back…. Fast forward to February of 2025 and I get emails with no explanation saying all my reservations have been cancelled. I reached out several times before I got a response and this is all I got It has been decided it is in the best interest of the campground to cancel reservations, refund the 3 reservations you had for the 2025 season, and no longer have a business relationship with you. At this time, we are asking that you not return to Camp HiYo! for any reason. We don’t have an explanation as to why we are asked to not return we have had a wonderful working relationship with this campground up until now. Beware of Judy… if she decides you are her target you will be ostracized and targeted in her hateful ways. We literally spent years volunteering and donating money towards this campground just to be treated as if we never existed.

Very friendly and nice at first. Picked a site ran background checks then ghosted for a week by Judy… she is horrible at responding or getting back. Ended up finding another site elsewhere. All previous reviews of her are pretty accurate. Highly don’t recommend wasting your time here.
