Barker Scout Reservation, this facility is far more than a simple campground; it is a sprawling, 650-acre dedicated educational and adventure facility. Tucked away within the scenic confines of the Myles Standish State Forest, Camp Squanto offers a unique, long-term summer camping experience for youth organizations like Scouts BSA, as well as a robust resource for various non-Scouting groups seeking year-round rental facilities for retreats, workshops, and outdoor events.

The staff is fantastic, they are very enthusiastic and always keep the Scouts engaged. the program is always evolving so you will never be bored. the food is excellent. There are options for everyone from scouts with allergies to picky scouts. The new shower houses with individual showers give the scout a sense of security and the flushing toilets in every site is nice too.
May 04, 2025 · James HogrellEvery time I come to Squanto, I always have a great time. Really the best camp for Boy Scouts, with such a great range of merit badge options and friendly staff to teach them. I’ll come back as long as I can. GO TROOP 89!!

Aug 04, 2023 · George NigroThis is a great scout camp. But the important part of this review is that you can't trust Google maps (2023) to get you there. There are too many named but gated forest access roads that look, to the algorithm, to be a shorter route. But can't be used. Check the route before going. You must enter through the state forest via upper college pond Rd.
