we spent two nights here and toured Casey Illinois for the majority of our time here. The laundry room is clean and cozy, although we are just starting out on our trip, so we did not use it. wash is currently $2 for 25 min and dry is currently a quarter for 5 min. four washers top load and three dryers (2 sm and 1 oversized). the bathroom/shower is very clean. the showers have a wooden door that locks and a curtain between your dry clothes and the shower space. hot water in the showers was very nice. the spaces are a nice size with picnic table and fire ring. Our site was level. Gravel driveway at sites.Staff is exceptionally wonderful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I felt safe and welcomed. traffic from 70 can be muffled with a fan in the camper if it bothers you. sweet train in the distance. neither one will keep me from booking here. only about 15 minutes from town to see the big things. it's an hour east of the Great Kaskaskia Dragon just down West interstate 70 in the town of Vandalia. Lincoln's parents log cabin is just north of Greenup. We had a wonderful time calling this place home for a couple of days. Highly recommend. we were in lot 17.

We stayed here one night and that was too long. I have no complaints about personnel, as the fellow we dealt with was pleasant. The park itself leaves a lot to be desired. The price was one of the highest we have paid at a KOA and was the least worthy of the almost $70 fee!!! Pea gravel spaces that were not very level. Muddy all around our space and every where we walked with our dog!!! I hated to even take him out!!!!! Maybe at a drier time it wouldn’t be so muddy, but it there we a lot of trees which prevented the sun from drying out the ground.

Once again KOA did not disappoint. A small. QUIET cabin with super clean KOA bathrooms. The gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Casey is a cute quaint and quiet town with a fantastic resteraunt. All in all it was a great weekend. Now to get back to reality.

Nice looking KOA and that's where it ends. Owner is RUDE! Due to unexpected RV problems which required it going to manufacturer for repairs I had to cancel our reservation. It was exactly 7 days out, but owner said it had to be 7 days in-between, so no refund. Could not reschedule without knowing how long RV was in for repairs. Owner said no refund because they are a "small operation" might be a "small operation" because of owner's attitude and our perceived greediness of owner. Each time we pass through the area the park is empty often, maybe there's a reason. I had to call 3 other KOA's to cancel and ALL 3 refunded us with no problem. One KOA was 3 days away. Good customer service speaks volumes to us and bad customer service speaks even louder. We will never stay at this KOA again unless it's under new ownership and management.

I stayed here twice for one nighters on a trip across the country. It was basically a pull in, sleep and leave the next day. Being a journey I wasn’t expecting anything lavish, but I was expecting better than I got. The sites were gravel and not level. The grass looked as though it hadn’t been cut in weeks. The picnic table was set on unlevel ground and there was what appeared to be a truck wheel as a fire pit. The water hook up was very close to the ground and made it difficult to hook up the water hose. I feel the price I paid was too high the type of park this is. The cost was approx $80 a night for each night I stayed.
