Two separate men helped me book this camping spot via phone. Both gentlemen! The Mosquitos were raising hell but that's life. Sorry bucko. Beautiful morning walk. Got lost on my way in because I felt I had better judgement than the GPS. Had Beer Barrel Polka blasting on the box. Anyhow, found my way in. You can get a site via smart phone but I did it old school. Thanks Wisconsin you sure was kind to me.

After seeing the reviews we were very excited about this park. Sadly, the mosquitoes were so bad our family could not go outside for a single moment. My teens could not hike, bike, or even walk to the bathroom, we had to drive them! I have never seen mosquitoes that were so bad! I really wanted to love this place as they have nice restrooms, clean showers, and friendly park staff, however until mosquitoes are under control I strongly suggest NOT staying here. Once this is under control, the campground would be quite nice. I do not think there are any full hook up sites but the stations are close by and clean.

Our family enjoyed staying at Castle Mound in late Sept. I think that helped control mosquitos. The trails were awesome and stroller (hiking stroller) friendly. The bathrooms were well maintained. Pet friendly for the most part. Other hiking trails with in driving distance too and worth the trip!! We would definitely return.
