Whether you're enjoying a quiet moment by Turtle Pond or exploring the park's rich history through guided tours, Central Park is an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of New York City. Highly recommended!
We took our dogs on the paved trail here, it's handicap accessible. Lots of wildflowers and birds to see. True to the Oklahoma area the lake is a disappointing muddy color as almost all lakes around these parts, but that's what's here.
Beautiful lake, great playgrounds and lots of friendly workers to help keep it a gorgeous clean lake!! Nice showers and restrooms with handicap seats if needed. Camping sites are always very clean and laid out perfectly!
Very quiet campground except for your occasional screamers in the middle of the night on the weekends when they have had to much to drink. I wish they didn’t charge as much in the off season especially when they don’t allow water on but I get they need to protect their pipes…..but a huge inconvenience when your paying full price. They did decorate the front gate entrance Area with Christmas lights which I’m trying to remember, I think is new this year!
Pros: Lovely surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price. Cons: You might have to clean up the site before you set up. There was trash scattered around the site and garbage left in the campfire ring. It was dark when I set up my tent, or I would’ve set up at a different site. Having said that, there was garbage scattered throughout the tenting area.
