This place is going downhill. The management ups the lot fees quite substantially every year which forced my grandmother out. It's more expensive here (renting a small square of grass to set a trailer on) than renting an entire, real house. Her "lot fee" was 3x's more than her payment for the trailer itself.

a minute ago They don't plow, they are rude all the time, don't salt, don't let us use the community center, charges you late fees for their system not working I've lived here for 8 years because they used to care about people and about keeping bad people from living here, now they allow section 8 in here and they will take peoples trailers (if they are late on there rent 3 times in one year they can do this) just to rent them out, if your looking for a place to raise your family I'd recommend running as fast as you can from lakeside and anything the owners and mangers touch and raising your rent $40 a year is normal

Lived here for five years and unfortunately seen a lot of things told to us at the time of sale not be true. This is no longer owner occupied only, they resell older abandoned homes with no proper safety inspection (as is),like we purchased, and rent brand new homes to section 8 Tennant's. There is a nice pool now but Nothing for children even though their website claims a playground. We have been turned down offering to fund or donate anything,a jungle gym,a basketball pole, a few benches or picnic tables even. The reason given is kids busted what was here long ago, even though it was never properly repaired or maintained. Crime has risen every year we have been here, vehicles broken into, things taken off properties, vandelism. We get told it's private property and to call Sherrifs and they say there's nothing they can do much. Once you own your home, your inspections increase and threats of eviction also. People have to leave behind their home and they gladly resell them. Cheaper living, but not if you finance an 80-120k new home and pay lot rent of 427+ a month for a small yard area. The office manager tries hard to listen to complaints but the other office staff is rude and says I don't know constantly if she even answers the phone.
