Chester Frost is a very nice place. We stayed a week. Had a water side and shaded spot. A very pleasant place to stay. Someone mentioned to bring your own firewood. However we were from out of state and it's illegal to take firewood across state lines. A guy who lives close will bring you wood. The ranger station will probably have his number. All in all a very nice campground.
Aug 02, 2023 · Loree WoolfI would like to see that anyone could come in an fish as long as they wanted. Not having to leave at 10pm because you didn't rent a camp spot from them. It's a state park an everyone pays taxes to keep it open I no that I pay my share in taxes. An yes it's a nice park an everyone that I have met there are also.
Apr 09, 2019 · Jeffery ReedNice place to camp. Campground has playgrounds for kids and nice bathrooms with showers. Fishing for bass is not so good unless you have a boat. Shore fishing only ok for brim or catfish. It's over-fished. Tons of boats going by all the time too. Protect your stuff from racoons, the racoons are numerous and bold. Also bring your own firewood.
