They've put a fresh coat of paint on everything at the playground here, since the last time we were here. Some of the refurbishments they did to the swings don't look particularly safe. But that merry-go-round... it looks old but the bearing in that thing is still going strong, haven't seen one like it since I was a kid. Kids wouldn't stop spinning on it till I dragged them away.

Great place to walk your dog. It has a paved trail approx 1 mile closed loop through the park. The trail has about 50/50 shade/sun with park benches and picnic tables around it so taking a breather if needed is easy to do.

Love this small town rodeo. Great entertainment & family fun and fair pricing. Go every year. Great fun for young and old alike. Usually has very good turn out. Also has a thing in arena 4 kids to be involved in. Nice relaxing enjoyable fun.
