CountyLine RV Park, located in Winnie, Texas, is presented as an RV park that offers a "fair price" and a "nice quiet peaceful park" experience. Many guests have "Really enjoyed our stay here!" and "Highly recommend staying here." It provides essential services to RVers, including full hook-ups (30/50 amp), water, sewer, trash service, and Wi-Fi. The park also includes grass areas and some shade, which can be beneficial in the Texas climate. It aims to be a straightforward and affordable option for those seeking a place to park their RV, whether for short or extended stays. The pricing structure includes daily, weekly, and monthly rates, with clear details on what utilities are included. While positive reviews emphasize its peacefulness and value, it is important to note that a significant conflicting review indicates issues with excessive police presence, noise, drama, and dissatisfaction with promised necessities, describing a "nonstop chaos and tension." This suggests that the park's environment can be inconsistent, and potential visitors should consider both perspectives.
CountyLine RV Park is situated at 1410 FM1406, Winnie, TX 77665, USA. This location places it in the town of Winnie, which is part of Chambers County in the Southeast Texas region. FM 1406 is a Farm to Market Road, indicating that the park is located off a state-maintained route that typically connects rural or agricultural areas to larger highways.
Winnie's strategic position near Interstate 10, a major east-west highway, contributes significantly to the park's accessibility. While FM 1406 might offer a slightly more secluded feel than a direct frontage road, it still provides relatively easy access for RVers traveling through the state. For those looking for an "overnight stop" or a convenient base while exploring the area, the proximity to a major interstate is a definite advantage, minimizing travel time and making arrivals and departures straightforward.
The town of Winnie itself, though smaller, offers fundamental amenities that RV park residents would need. These include local grocery stores, gas stations, and various dining options. The annual Texas Rice Festival is a notable local event that adds to the town's character and can provide entertainment for visitors.
Furthermore, Winnie is situated within the broader "Golden Triangle" area of Southeast Texas, which includes industrial hubs like Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. For individuals working on contract assignments or in the petrochemical industry in these areas, CountyLine RV Park's location provides a viable and potentially affordable housing option with a manageable commute. The park's address balances the need for convenient access from major routes with a setting that, for some, offers a peaceful break from more urbanized environments.
CountyLine RV Park offers a set of core services designed to provide a functional and affordable stay for RVers.
CountyLine RV Park presents several features that may appeal to RVers, particularly those prioritizing value and a generally quiet environment.
It is important for potential residents to consider that while some describe it as peaceful, there are significant conflicting accounts of frequent disturbances, including noise, arguments, and calls to law enforcement, along with concerns about drug activity and unmet promises regarding necessities from the owner.
Based on the provided information, CountyLine RV Park does not explicitly advertise specific, time-limited "promotions or special offers" beyond its standard pricing structure. The park's main value proposition and what could be considered its ongoing "offer" is its "very fair price," as highlighted by customer reviews. The published rates of $40 per night, $200 per week, and $400 per month (plus electricity for monthly stays) are presented as the regular, competitive pricing. These rates already include water, sewer, trash, and Wi-Fi, which adds significant value to the overall package. For the most current and exact pricing details, or to inquire if any unadvertised specials are available for unique circumstances, it is always recommended to contact CountyLine RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers.

For Texans, CountyLine RV Park in Winnie presents a choice that, for some, aligns with the need for affordable and functional RV accommodation. Its suitability for local residents, especially those working in or frequently traveling through Southeast Texas, can be viewed through a specific lens, primarily focusing on its economic value and basic offerings.
The most compelling factor for Texans considering CountyLine RV Park is its "very fair price." In a state where long-term RV living or temporary work assignments are common, the affordable daily, weekly, and particularly the monthly rate (at $400 plus electricity) offers a significant financial advantage. This inclusive pricing, covering water, sewer, trash, and Wi-Fi, simplifies budgeting and reduces the overall cost of living, which is a major draw for those seeking practical, budget-conscious housing solutions. For Texans working in the petrochemical industries of Beaumont, Port Arthur, or other nearby industrial zones, a low-cost, full-hookup RV park can be an appealing alternative to more expensive traditional rentals.
Additionally, for those who have experienced a "nice quiet peaceful park" stay, CountyLine RV Park offers the tranquility many Texans desire after a long day. This peaceful atmosphere, when present, allows for relaxation and a good night's sleep, essential for maintaining well-being while on the road or engaged in demanding work. The park's location on FM 1406, while perhaps not directly on a major interstate, still provides relatively easy access to I-10, making it convenient for local commutes or for those traversing the state.
However, it's crucial for locals to be aware of the conflicting experiences reported by other residents. The strong negative review citing "nonstop chaos and tension," "fighting and drama," "drugs and crackheads," and frequent police presence directly contradicts the "peaceful" description. This suggests that while some may find it a quiet and affordable haven, others have encountered significant disturbances. For a Texan prioritizing a genuinely calm and secure environment, thorough due diligence and perhaps a short-term trial stay would be advisable to assess the current atmosphere.
In summary, CountyLine RV Park's primary suitability for Texans lies in its competitive pricing and basic utility provisions. For those whose top priority is affordability and who are prepared to accept potential variations in the park's social environment, it may offer a viable solution in the Winnie area.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Price was very fair. Nice quiet peaceful park. Highly recommend staying here.
Mar 10, 2025 · Rick RhynardI’m honestly really disappointed with this RV park. It feels like the cops are here more than the residents. they get called out CONSTANTLY because of all the fighting and drama going on. There’s always yelling and arguing happening and it’s super stressful and exhausting to be around. Drugs and crackheads all over the place. Owner expects us to pay full rent but won’t get the promised necessities?? I expected a peaceful place to stay, but instead it’s just nonstop chaos and tension. Definitely not somewhere I’d want to be or recommend to anyone who actually wants to relax.
May 15, 2025 · ChrisThe park is never kept up, grass is constantly tall, does not have a dumpster, as well as can't keep lights on. No internet,Worst in Winnie, avoid this place
Jun 06, 2025 · JoshVery nice and clean place to stay. I stayed for 7 months and never had any issues, definitely recommend and will be back if I’m in the area. Great rates also!!
Mar 09, 2024 · Rachel HicksStayed here for 8 months for work and Josh was an excellent landlord, always offering to help anytime he saw me working on something outside! Very quiet RV park and a great place to come home to and relax after a long day. My girlfriend also really loved the group of ducks that wondered throughout the park. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet trusty place to stay!
