What truly sets Eagle's Nest RV Park apart, according to its community of campers, is its remarkable sense of camaraderie and the dedication of its management. Despite being a smaller park with primarily back-in sites, the upkeep of individual spaces by long-term residents is consistently noted, contributing to a tidy and inviting atmosphere. This commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment, coupled with a streamlined online check-in process, makes arriving at Eagle's Nest a breeze, allowing you to settle in and start enjoying your Tennessee escape without delay.
While Eagle's Nest RV Park might be described as a practical rather than amenity-rich resort, its core appeal lies in its reliable full hookup sites and its connection to the local community. For those who prioritize a comfortable home base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and local charm of Buchanan and the Kentucky Lake region, Eagle's Nest RV Park stands out as a solid choice. It's a place where the focus is on a good night's rest and a friendly wave from a fellow camper, making it a true home away from home for many Tennesseans on the road.
Eagle's Nest RV Park is conveniently located at 100 Eagle Nest Rd, Buchanan, TN 38222, USA. This address places it strategically within Henry County, Tennessee, just a stone's throw away from the expansive and popular Kentucky Lake. Its proximity to the lake makes it an attractive destination for RVers who enjoy water-based activities such as fishing, boating, and kayaking.
The park's location in Buchanan, while offering a sense of being in a more rural setting, also provides reasonable accessibility to local amenities. Several good restaurants and fuel stations are within walking distance, offering convenience for daily needs. However, it's worth noting, as a previous guest mentioned, that larger grocery stores are a bit further out, typically around 10 miles away. This means a short drive is needed for major supply runs, but everyday essentials and dining options are close at hand.
For those traveling by RV, the park is generally easy to access via well-maintained roads. As a smaller park, it offers back-in sites, and while no specific details on pull-through sites are provided, its manageable size suggests straightforward maneuvering for most RVs. The location also serves as an excellent base for exploring the wider Henry County area, including nearby Paris Landing State Park, which offers additional recreational opportunities and stunning lake views. The direct online check-in process further enhances accessibility, allowing campers to proceed directly to their assigned site upon arrival without the need for a physical check-in desk.
Eagle's Nest RV Park focuses on providing essential and reliable services to ensure a comfortable stay for its RV guests. While it might not boast extensive recreational facilities, its core offerings are well-maintained and cater to the needs of modern RVers:
- Full Hookup Sites: All sites at Eagle's Nest RV Park are full hookup, meaning they provide electricity, water, and sewer connections. This is a significant convenience for RV owners, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay without the need to frequently move their rig for services.
- Back-In Sites: The park primarily features back-in sites. While this may require a bit more maneuvering for some, the park's friendly and helpful management is known to assist if needed.
- Online Check-In System: Eagle's Nest employs a streamlined online check-in process. Guests pay for their site when making a reservation and then proceed directly to their assigned site upon arrival, which is a convenient feature for late arrivals or those who prefer minimal contact.
- Cable TV: The park provides cable television hookups at the sites. However, it's worth noting from a past review that signal quality can sometimes be an issue, with some channels experiencing a "double picture."
- Wi-Fi Access: While Wi-Fi is supposedly available, a past guest reported difficulty connecting to it even with a good signal, suggesting that reliability may vary. Campers should plan for limited internet connectivity.
- Well-Maintained Sites: Despite having many long-term residents, guests consistently note that everyone keeps up their sites, contributing to a clean and organized park environment.
- No Picnic Tables, Grills, or Fire Rings: It's important for potential guests to be aware that individual sites do not come with picnic tables, grills, or fire rings. Campers should plan to bring their own portable versions if these amenities are desired.

This convenience means campers don't have to drive far for a meal out or to refuel their vehicles. The specific mention of "TNT for pizza" by a reviewer suggests a popular local dining spot.
- Suited for Long-Term & Seasonal Stays: While welcoming to short-term visitors, the park has a significant number of full-time and seasonal campers. This indicates a stable and often quieter environment, as these residents typically maintain their sites well and foster a sense of community.
- Peaceful Setting (Mostly): Despite proximity to businesses, the park is generally quiet, especially during weekdays. While there can be noise from nearby businesses on Friday and Saturday nights, the overall ambiance during the week is peaceful, allowing for relaxation.
- Level Sites: At least one reviewer noted their site was "fairly level," which is a significant advantage for RVers seeking ease of setup.
As a smaller, privately owned RV park, Eagle's Nest RV Park may not widely publicize specific promotional codes or seasonal discounts in the same way larger chains or state parks might. However, it is common for such parks to offer various types of deals that cater to different lengths of stay or specific groups of campers. Based on typical RV park practices, potential promotions or offers might include:
- Weekly or Monthly Rates: Given the presence of many long-term and seasonal campers, it is highly probable that Eagle's Nest RV Park offers discounted rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates) compared to their nightly fees. This is a standard practice in the RV park industry to encourage longer bookings.
- Off-Season Discounts: During the slower tourist seasons (typically late fall, winter, and early spring, outside of major holidays), some RV parks may offer reduced rates to attract more visitors.
- First-Time Camper Discounts: Occasionally, parks might offer a small discount for first-time visitors as an incentive to try their facilities.
- Referral Programs: Existing satisfied campers might be eligible for discounts if they refer new guests.
- Senior or Military Discounts: While not explicitly mentioned, some private parks do offer discounts for seniors, active military personnel, or veterans.

Customer Reviews
Many long timers in the park but everyone keeps up their sites. A very friendly and welcoming park. This is a small park with only back in sites. You pay for your site when you make your reservation. Check in is all done on line. You go directly to your site upon arrival. We were very impressed with the management of the park. Very welcoming and helpful. Although the campground has no control, on Friday and Saturday nights the two businesses that back up to the park are noisy with music, cars, people. Just be aware. Make sure you go to TNT for pizza. Site 1 and 2 flood when there is rain. Site was fairly level.
Nice full hook up sites but there is no picnic table, grill or fire ring at any of the sites. They supposedly have WIFI but we could never connect to it in the 6 days that we were there even though we had a good signal. A few good restaurants with fuel within walking distance but grocery stores are at least 10 miles away. You are given no handouts when you check in. Mostly full time and seasonal campers. They had cable but we had a double picture on 19 of the 22 channels even after trying to hook up to 3 different cable boxes.
Fraud, we booked a siite with internet/wifi and had no internet/wifi! just like other people who were here 6 and 3 months ago! That seems like a way to charge a price which is much to high for this RV park! One room with toilet and shower fits the hole park! We were lucky to be the only RV guests! Nobody cleaned the restroom until our stay. The highway make sure that you get nice noise at night. Never ever again! Best thing was the TNT Pizza close by.
Great small park, full hook ups with cement pads. Located near Paris, Tennessee for convenient shopping. We are staying here a month and have not been disappointed with all the things there are to see nearby. Land Between the Lakes, and wildlife refuges are all around. Ample parks and water areas to picnic, hike and relax.
The rv pads are concrete and ours were level side to side. It was a great campground for Memorial Day weekend. I wish it had a pool but we were fine (splash pad and pool in paris also a swimming area close by at the lake) Had to use every hose I had (2 long 1 short) to connect to drain. It has long term rigs, which we didn’t mind. Caters to anybody wanting to be near the water but enjoys the quiet.
