Promotions or Special Offers

As part of the Ohio State Parks system, East Fork State Park Campgrounds primarily operates on a standardized reservation and pricing model, rather than frequent, fluctuating promotions unique to a single campground. However, there are inherent values and booking advantages that can be considered "offers" for Ohio residents:

  • Ohio State Parks Reservation System: Campers can make reservations up to six months in advance online through the Ohio State Parks Reservation System or by calling (866) 644-6727. This advance booking capability, especially for popular sites or during peak seasons, ensures you secure your desired spot.
  • Rewards Program: The Ohio State Parks system offers a Rewards Program. Visitors can enroll in this program via their online account to potentially earn benefits or discounts on future stays across the state park system, which could include East Fork.
  • Standardized State Park Pricing: The nightly fees for campsites at East Fork State Park typically range from around $27 to $42, providing a consistent and generally affordable option for camping within a state park system. These rates offer good value considering the extensive amenities and activities available within the park.
  • Long-Term Stay Options: While a limit of two weeks stay in a 30-day period applies to all Ohio State Parks, weekly rates might offer slight savings over nightly bookings, if available, for extended visits.
  • Off-Peak Season Camping: Although facilities may be limited, camping during the non-peak season, particularly in Loop C with its heated shower house, often presents a more tranquil and potentially more affordable experience compared to bustling summer weekends.

For the most current rates, specific site availability, and detailed information on any system-wide promotions or the Ohio State Parks Rewards Program, visitors are encouraged to check the official Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) website or the Ohio State Parks Reservation System. It's always advisable to confirm pricing and policies directly when making a reservation.

Many of the loops have no bathhouse, with no explicit mention of this on the website. Tent campers beware! Look at the map closely. Thankfully we were allowed to switch sites. But still a pain. Also, the "campground beach" is more like a logjam. Don't even get your hopes up.

We had a group come to camp here. Overall we had a blast and the campground was great, clean, and the company (other campers) were extremely laid back. The bathrooms and showers were clean also. ****The only issues we had were that We had two campsites B23 & B24 and neither one of them had a grill in the fire pits (and both of ours for whatever reason were the only two without them, I checked). Also one of our campsites B23 we couldn't even use bc there was room for only one tent (online it says you can fit up to 6 people realistically you could fit a 2-3 person tent in that spot) and it had been raining so that only spot was a mud puddle the rest of the area was at a slope and/or concrete so nobody could pitch a tent there. I would still definitely go back.

We love camping here and found our favorite campsite. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot if you go to a newer built shower house. I wish they had laundry but there is an excellent laundromat down the road. We plan on camping at least 4 times this year. Lots of things to see, but the park is huge, be prepared to drive around to get to places
