It’s the kind of welcoming, well-kept, and adventure-ready spot that Mainers happily return to year after year. This campground is quiet, beautiful and all nature. I’ve camped at many campgrounds and this one is “real camping”, kids riding bikes, playing basketball and entertaining themselves. The river is gorgeous, the campground is up to date and CLEAN! The owners are truly amazing! So kind along with all the staff. We did a family float with 14 of us down the river, memories made! ATV access, cool to see all coming in to camp and visit the restaurant. I will be back for sure!!
Aug 17, 2025 · Jaye LaCroixGreat Family owned campground. The place is well kept and staff is great!!! My kids had a blast playing in the river and exploring the place. The cabins are rustic, but clean and comfortable. The price is good compared to other places we've stayed. We will DEFINITELY GO BACK!!!!!!!
Aug 13, 2025 · Ajm438If you are disabled and own a service dog do not go here. I was harassed first by a female employee who asked me if my dog had papers. I told her Mocha, a female chocolate lab, was my service dog and No I did not have them on my person. ( yes it illegal to ask for documentation).. Next, my girl Mocha was as close to sleeping as one can get and a man came out of the kitchen and told me the dog had to go. Why I asked. “ Because she was not wearing a vest “ ( yes I know it is not a legal requirement ). I had to take her out of the restaurant and put her in our vehicle. Then a man named Scott who I could tell knew someone(s) really did a bad thing, made every excuse known to man and never apologized but said I could take her back inside. But not before asking me what my disability is . Yes you heard me correctly, SMH ( yes I know this is illegal) I did go back in with Mocha because I didn’t want to ruin the one night in a very long time we were all together. Both employees singled me and my service dog Mocha out for no apparent reason other than who knows why?? She was causing no harm to anyone and laid under our table near asleep. I could go on but I won’t. Just a warning to those with service animals. Not Service Dog Friendly… The Business Title states Evergreens campground and RESTAURANT! There is only one restaurant on the premise. If you don’t want people to review the restaurant you might want to take restaurant out of the business title.
Aug 04, 2025 · royce richardsMy husband & I went to their restaurant & I think they need suggestions from chef Gordon Ramsey. Hostess & waitress really nice people, my bar-b-que baby back ribs were burn & tasted them like gasoline, French fries were over cooked in a unhealthy oil or undercooked.
