The campground is situated a short drive off the major transportation artery of Route 201 (Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway), which connects the area to southern Maine. This makes the location easy to find and reach. Crucially, while the site feels wonderfully remote, necessary amenities are close at hand. The blend of remote wilderness feel with the convenience of a nearby town makes Lessard's Getaway a highly practical choice for Mainers seeking to simplify their logistics.
Accessibility is also key for the ATV community. The campground is well-known for "catering" to All-Terrain Vehicle riders, offering a base from which enthusiasts can directly access the extensive network of local and state trails that crisscross the Kennebec Valley region.

Nearby General Store Access: A local store is conveniently located about ten minutes down the road, ensuring campers can easily resupply with essentials, great food, and ice.
