Services Offered
Manufactured home communities like Fountainvue Community typically offer a core set of services designed to provide residents with essential utilities and a maintained living environment. While specific details should always be verified directly with the park management, common services generally include:
- Lot Rental: The primary service provided is the rental of individual plots or "pads" where residents can place their manufactured or mobile homes. This includes the designated space and access to necessary utility hook-ups.
- Utility Connections: The park typically provides the infrastructure for individual utility connections to each home lot. This generally includes access to essential services such as water, sewer, and electricity. Residents are commonly responsible for establishing their accounts directly with the utility providers and managing their own consumption bills.
- Road Maintenance: The upkeep and maintenance of internal roads within the community are generally the responsibility of the park management. While some reviews have noted that the "road in trailer park needs work," this is an area where management is expected to provide service to ensure accessibility.
- Common Area Upkeep: Management is usually responsible for the maintenance of common areas within the community, ensuring that shared spaces are kept clean and presentable. This can include landscaping of public areas.
It's crucial for prospective residents to confirm with Fountainvue Community management precisely which services are included in the lot rent, any additional fees for utilities or other services, and the typical response times for maintenance requests. Understanding these details upfront can help set clear expectations for living in the community.

- Affordable Housing: Manufactured home communities often represent a more accessible and economical pathway to homeownership or stable long-term renting in Indiana, making them a key option for budget-conscious individuals and families.
- Independent Living: Residents have the autonomy of owning or renting a detached home, offering more freedom in personalizing their living space (within park guidelines) than typical rental apartments.

Public reviews have indicated areas where residents feel the "owners don't care how the property looks" and have criticized maintenance and management responsiveness. Prospective residents should consider these points and discuss them with the park management during their inquiry.

Customer Reviews
You can definitely tell the owners don't care how the property looks or the care of the park.
It's a lot of drama, and favoritism, not took care of the right way, The guy that takes care of it lier and a back stabber. I can go on about a lot of things that goes on but all I will say I will never live there again even if it was free....
It's a small town but I love it very quiet There are plenty of stopping areas and the view from my front porch is absolutely breathtaking I love it here!!!
This little community is an awsome place to live...no ! Really it is.... It's quiet and the people are awesome... If you ever get a chance please come visit.....or make it your home too 😊
This seemingly desolate wasteland of a trailer park is a glimpse of what it once was. It's unclear the direction the park manager is taking. Most Mobile Homes are gone and it seemed it was closing, but with the addition of a new home and the construction trailer there might be a revival. Either way the management is intrusive, rude, and loves to constantly drive around the park and through yards even to "monitor" the park. Although it seems more out of beer induced boredom and being nosy. The only benefit is the open space, large yards, location and pricing.
