Definitely the place to fish! I’m a huge bass fisherman, but don’t personally own a boat. Which is why this place is so great, they allow boat rentals for low prices. I’ve personally been to a couple places and never have had these luxuries. The staff always gives my family and I a warm welcome and are very accommodating as well. If you’re looking for a well priced getaway for the weekend Gone Fishin RV park is the destination to go!

I recently stayed at the Gone Fishin RV camp Oct. 9-11 w/my family and we had a great time! Owner Mark, family & manager were friendly & always were making sure we had everything we needed. Reasonable price for accomadations. RV slept comfortably & linens, pillows, dishes, pots & pans & eating utensils were provided. Landscape out at the RV camp was beautiful & peaceful in the country. Made you forget all your worries in the city. We also enjoyed going out on the river in the boat fishing, paddle boating & kayaking. Great place to take your family for a weekend getaway. Everyone makes you feel at home.

Absolutely enjoyed my first time out there. I like to get on the water, well before sunrise. This 24 hour boat ramp rocks! Launching from here provides a variety of fishing areas. The owner is way cool and accommodating. The nice country drive, from San Antonio, was totally worth it. I'll definately be returning. Honestly, if you already have a kayak, or want to try your hand at kayak fishing... this place is a must try :)

Me and my family spent a weekend fishing here. We had great luck catching fish. The staff went out of there way to accommodate us and provide us with everything we needed. The rv was nice and we enjoyed use of the boats and kayaks that were all included in our price. I'm looking forward to many more fishing trips here.

Out of all of the fishing holes i've been to this one is for sure the spot to go. I have never been huge on fishing until I came here. The staff gave us great tips on what fishing equipment to use and where the best spots are located. Another perk about the Gone Fishin RV Park is that they offer Boat, Kayaks and Ultraskiff rentals for very low prices, which my buddy and I do not personally own a boat which made it much more enjoyable. They are very accommodating and just fun people to be around. Definitely will be my top pick!
