We spent 2 nights in the yogi bear cabin. $250+ fees per night. No linens (not even a dish towel), no paper towels, no extra toilet paper, dishes were dirty, the shower liner was moldy and no bath mat so the floor was slippery after we showered. Nothing on the website or confirmation email says to bring your own towels, bath mat, dish towels, or pillows, so luckily I brought them just in case. There were no curtains so as soon as the sun came up it woke my kids up, and no blinds at all on the front door. The air conditioner sounded like a lawn mower was running the entire time which also kept my kids up. And no lamps or bedside tables in the main room, and no television in the cabin. WiFi is extra and has to be paid for and there’s no cell service. It was $10 per person to swim in the lake and my 6 year old kid and another older kid with special needs both almost drowned on the inflatables. The other kid had to actually be rescued. The lake worker and the property owner both acknowledged it was an issue and over a hundred kids last summer also almost drowned and they seemed to not care and had no plans to change it or warn people before swimming. And it was $15 to tie dye tshirts, again on top of the $250 per night for a tiny cabin with no amenities. Would not recommend this as it’s very expensive for no amenities included, and it’s a huge safety risk that is acknowledged by the owner and ignored. It’s 30 mins from any hiking areas in hocking hills so it’s not even a convenient place to stay.

Jun 01, 2025 · whitney robinsonMy family stayed here in our camper over the weekend. It was absolutely beautiful. Super Kid friendly. The kids loved the playground. We loved how centrally located the playground was and the kids absolutely loved Trick or Treating and appearances by Yogi. We will definitely be back!!
Oct 14, 2024 · Margie SimmermanI felt compelled to leave a review when I don’t usually because we have had the best week here! The weather has been perfect and the atmosphere has been great too. My kids (8 and 5) have played all weekend with neighboring campers, the pond offered great fun on the inflatables and fishing! The snowless tubes were a hit as well. The new bath houses are hands down the nicest bath houses we’ve ever used and the sites were clean and well kept! No complaints from me and we will be back!
Jun 09, 2024 · Meghan TylerMy grandson had the best time at Jelly Stone State Park in Hocking Hills Ohio. He said, he wished he could start the trip all over. Site 18 is a wonderful site with shade in the afternoons. The site is right by the campsite so you can watch your child at the playground from the site. There are several other sites by the playground also. There were so many kids playing together at the playground with parents watching from their sites. Parents shared pop cycles with kids, it was like the olden days where kids went out all played. There are activities that the campground provides along with a super duper blow up bouncy ninjas on the water. A bubble machine and a giant slide that the kids loved. We got visits from Yoga and Boo Boo with a movie night. This was the most memorable trip my grandson has went on. The campground host was friendly. The atmosphere was the best with other campers.
