Customer Reviews
Nice place to camp. Only wish we could have stayed longer than 14 days at a time.
Very nice campgrounds. Well maintained with clean restroom and showers. You have to pay to use showers which I thought was odd. First campground we've been to that showers weren't included in the camp fee. Overall felt safe tent camping here although we only noticed rangers patrolling once or twice a day.
We got a nice lakeside camping spot. This area is a mix of tent only and rv spots. Our tent only spot has no electricity, and the water is shared between several sites. Luckily we had already filled out 5 gallon water jug when the rv next door hooked up to it as theirs. Bathrooms were clean but HOT on this summer afternoon. Shower was clean. No hot water. My wife said it was too cold to stand in. (I rinsed of in the nice warm lake water 😀.) Check in was pleasant. We went straight to our reserved spot and a camp host stopped by and checked our name against the online reservation. She said that it would be quiet tonight, but the weekends can be a bit crazy. Overall, nice place right on the lake!
No trees. Got to witness a fistfight in front of my RV between some trashy group of people that proceeded to throw rocks in my direction where my dog and I stood not caring who they marked around them. Oh, and to top it off there was a big Girl Scouts gathering right next-door to me so they got to witness this.police were prompt and did show up. The showers are pretty much disgusting and were painted just like TDCJ prison, the same hardware for the showers felt like I was in prison all over again good times bathrooms nasty. Oh, and the neighbor two trailers down stayed up mightly until three or four beating his wife or girlfriend that was fun too. I think I’ll stay out of this town from now on.
Nice view of the lake, but the facility is run down. Small RV sites and tent sites run downhill to the lake. The bathroom could use a good pressure washing.
