As a campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Holiday Campground typically adheres to a standardized fee structure, and traditional "promotions or special offers" in the commercial sense are less common. However, it does offer value through its competitive pricing and potential discounts for certain groups, which act as a form of "special offer."
- America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series: As a federal campground, Holiday Campground participates in this pass program. Holders of certain passes, such as the Senior Pass or Access Pass, may be eligible for a 50% discount on standard amenity fees (like camping fees). This is a significant benefit for qualifying individuals.
- Competitive Pricing: Campsite fees generally range, for example, from $16.00 to $290.00, depending on the type of site and duration, which are typically competitive for well-equipped sites on a popular lake. It's always best to check current rates directly on Recreation.gov or by contacting the campground.
- Seasonal Availability: The campground is typically open from mid-March to the beginning of September. While not a "promotion," understanding the operational season is key for planning.
- Advance Reservations: All sites are reservable up to 6 months in advance. While not a discount, the ability to secure a desired site, especially a popular lakeside one, is a valuable "offer" in itself, especially during peak season when spots fill up quickly.
To determine your exact costs and eligibility for any discounts, it is highly recommended to:
- Check the Official Recreation.gov Website: As an Army Corps of Engineers campground, reservations and detailed pricing are typically managed through Recreation.gov. This site will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and any applicable discounts.
- Contact the Campground Directly: While online resources are helpful, a phone call can clarify specific questions about pricing, group rates, or any potential unadvertised specials for longer stays or off-peak periods.
While not offering flashy commercial deals, the core "promotion" of Holiday Campground lies in its accessible pricing for federal land use and potential discounts for qualifying individuals, combined with the high quality of the camping experience it provides.

Customer Reviews
This was surprisingly a quiet lake and campground. Spacious and private sites. Only 2 bath houses in the campground and although clean, needed updating. Definitely camping here again!
First time visiting Holiday campgrounds but not my last. Very well managed campground. Love that we was right on the lake and staff was great.
Nice place just need some update on the sites. Don't expect large space for your long caper, mine is 26 foot long and the site is on a incline the site is the 27. One thing that don't like at all was that at 10pm the gate is closed with a padlook in case of emergency you need to call the hostess, the bathroom need update the are old.
We love Holiday Campground! It's getting harder and harder to find a site, especially for holidays, but the hosts have always been nice, helpful, and happy to assist us when we needed it. We had a very large group, and everything wemt as smooth as could be expected with diffent checkin times and days. They were very patient with our chaos! Almost all the sites a "good sites" although some are weird. Weird as in the tent pad is set off from the campsite driveway. Which is great for tent camping, but it's not so great if you have a camper and ate used to setting up just outside the door, with a dog fence etc. Not anything that could not be worked around for us, but we planned ahead and brought a cart with is to carry our stuff back and forth. We have been many times, and we will be back many more times.
Spots are beautiful and right on the water. However, having the gates closed from 10pm-7am is kind of crazy. State parks have gate codes to solve this issue. Not sure why that isn’t done here. Also, the bathrooms are ATROCIOUS. There are only small bathroom houses near the campsites and then far away are the shower houses that are in terrible disrepair, with rust everywhere!!
