Customer Reviews
Wonderful campground. Great lake view, quiet and nice spots. Power/water hookup. But, only downfall are the bath houses. Need a MAJOR upgrade. A pressure washer to the insure is a MUST, there were so many spider webs and bugs in the bathroom you could hardly use them. The women's restroom hot water ran constant making the bathroom so hot and muggy, fogged mirrors. Awful. Would love to see this place get some work done to it and upgrade. We love Holpps lake, id buy if they would sell it we love it so much.
This was a beautiful, peaceful campground with a beautiful, clean lake. However, no one at the campground office throughout our weekend stay, we had to go hunt down someone to get checked in. Bath houses had door lock codes which we were not given and could not get because no one was ever in the office. Day use bathrooms were dirty. No trash cans at the campsites. Will go back, because of the beautiful location, when weather is better, to see if the services improve.
This is such a beautiful and peaceful place. Our work crew and family enjoyed the kayaks, swimming area, fishing, playground and especially the pavilions where we enjoyed lunch and a muddy pond watermelon. We will definitely continue coming here and recommend it to others too
We stayed 2 nights in our RV at Holpp’s. The campground and lake are beautiful! We enjoyed sitting in the swing to watch the sunset over the lake. Lots to do there for kids/families with swimming, kayaking, and a nice playground. Bathhouse was decent. Friendly staff. Close to The Country Porch at Muddy Pond for amazing sandwiches!
Discriminated against since the moment we walked in! There was one older lady with short grey hair who treated us so poorly our entire trip. While everyone else was very polite and helpful, she didn’t want anything to do with us. The moment we walked in she had an attitude and singled us out to make sure we knew there were no drugs or alcohol. While my 2 friends were having a conversation she stopped talking to me and my girlfriend to stare down my friends until they looked at her to let us know we have to be quiet by 10 than laughed and said there was a preacher next to us so he would keep an eye us. She constantly patrolled around and kept a close eye on us. She told us that our campsite was too messy when we had the floats, as well as there boxes that we bought from there store which was all kept organized. We all felt uncomfortable and watched every moment of being there. If we could’ve had the service everyone had, this would’ve been a better stay.
