One of the most beautiful camps in all of cheese land. Great camp hosts, very clean & helpful. Love this park!!!
Aug 28, 2018 · Roving NomadEnjoyed Devils Lake immensely. We camped in the Upper Ice Age campground which is completely wooded. Each site has a framed in flat spot for a tent, fire ring, picnic table and parking spot. There is a bathroom with running water and showers plus another pit toilet facility. We found our camp to be private and quiet. The downside is that it is over a mile to to the lake, so we drove to the lake. One could bike or walk, but it is up a hill and there is no dedicated bike path or trail. Also, the bathroom/showers were dirty, not cleaned in the two nights we were there and likely longer. Would recommend not getting a site by the pit toilets as they smell. The camp store is only selling ice and wood, no access to the store, due to COVID. The Nature and Visitors Centers were closed. The kayak rental was open one day, but closed due to bad weather otherwise.
Jul 16, 2020 · Kathy ClevengerThe camp that I was at had little grass but it was close to showers and a bathroom and a 10 min walk from the trail and 15 from the beach stay was great!
Sep 08, 2020 · Oli PorawskiClean sites. Good spacing. Needs better restrooms. Other than that it’s one of the nicer ones out there.
