Customer Reviews
Just spent Memorial Day weekend at one of the cabin rentals at Skillet Creek with my son and grandchildren. It was so much fun and there was a lot to keep the grandkids busy. They loved the bounce pad, the playground, beach area & slide and light parade. The campground is clean and welcoming. The cabins were comfortable, clean and gave us everything we needed. I was a seasonal camper for many years and the new owners have put in so much work and activities for children and are very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back soon.
I stayed at this campground a couple of times while attending a women's climbing event. Skillet Creek is a wonderful campground, and it would be my go-to if I lived in the state. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the sites spacious, and staff kind, and so much more. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Very nice family friendly campground. RV sites were spacious. Tent sites 201-203 is one big open area with no trees separating the sites. Each of those sites could easily fit 6-8 tents. Site 204 is more secluded and surrounded by trees...more rocky ground than grass at this site. Bathrooms/showers across from the park are clean and ventilated. About 6 bathrooms and 6 showers including 1 each handicap accessible. The playground is nice...see saws, 5 swings & 1 child swing, slide, tower. Swimming lake is really nice, large, clean, filtered & has a slide. Across from that there is a jump pad, sand pit, & a sort of volleyball net. Prices here are reasonable & I have no complaints!! .
The Wife and I when for a getaway weekend! These campground was great the campsites are huge! They even have bigger ones! Kid friendly! The weekend event was a dinosaur hunt and a glow parade! It is like 2.5 miles from Devils Lake! We will be back to this campground! Showers and both rooms are clean! Have a game room with some arcade games and pool table ping-pong and more. the camp store is will stocked with every thing you shod need! The pool was nice as will with an outdoor snick Bar! Kids jump head was nice to see for the kids with a little library next to it! Looking forward to are next trip here!
We had a great stay at this campground. The site was wooded and large and felt secluded and the amenities (pond, playground, jumping pad etc.) were awesome for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. In fact, the entire place was beautifully-kept. The location is perfect for heading to Devil's Lake. My only word of warning is that the campground-led activities are boisterous and loud and (in our case) late at night. But they did advertise "prom weekend" and the "glow parade" so I can't say I didn't have a warning about it, and the other campers loved it. I will be staying here again!
